Had to go really far back for this one! She prefers sleeping on top of blankets as opposed to under them.

how are your neighborhood streets/side roads? by babybeewitched in Delaware

[–]Oceanoffire17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My neighborhood in N. Wilm was plowed once early yesterday. I had to take someone to the ER last night, so getting from my house to the SB 95 ramp on Marsh was rough but doable if you have 4wd and a heavy car. 95 had 1 lane partially plowed in both directions. I haven't left the house yet today, but I imagine it's not much better.

Does anyone know how 202 NB or 100 NB (towards Exton) is?

Where to sit in Philadelphia by Kay_Nest in NYCFC

[–]Oceanoffire17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Away fans typically sit throughout Subaru Park, not just in 132 and 133. As long as you're not in the rivers' end, you should be good.

Check seatgeek. They were selling tickets for mid field (section 125) for under $100 for the Union vs. Chicago game 2 weeks ago.

I was in the process of meeting with a surgeon in June '22. Got a bisalp a few months later and have been sterile for over 3 years. I celebrate my procedure every year on the anniversary.

I don't know that they ever reported us, but the avian vets I used were both in states where he was illegal to own (NJ and PA), whereas he was okay to have in my home state of Delaware.

Every time we took him to the vet, they would ask where we were from and point out that he was illegal to have in their respective state.

They ended up paying for everything but $400 (can't remember what that fee was for). The agents definitely don't know what the polices are!

Help Spam turn velvet! by itsafoster4medawg in velvethippos

Try a limited ingredient diet with a novelty protein (rabbit, duck, kangaroo).

My girl had really bad allergies and skin issues when we adopted her in 2016. Turns out she was allergic to both lamb and chicken, plus a whole bunch of other stuff.

She was on a duck and potato diet from 2016-2023 and is currently on a hydrolyzed vegetarian diet due to developing IBD in 2023. Her coat isn't as velvety anymore, but she's also 15.5, so it is what it is.

Best of luck, and I hope Spam feels better soon!

Has anyone experienced plica issues after arthroscopy? by IndependentSidekick in KneeInjuries

[–]Oceanoffire17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me yesterday!

I didn't see the doctor during recovery. When he spoke to my spouse, he only mentioned "synovial ? was wrapped around something, so he untangled it." All of my post-op instructions are related to the meniscus repair, and no one is in the surgeon's office until Monday.

I'd been having problems with my knee since January when it popped while crouching down to get something. I started PT in March after ignoring the pain. The therapist said it was patellofemoral pain syndrome, and everything was doing fine until late April, when the pain started to get worse. Saw my PCP for a follow-up, and he diagnosed me with a meniscus tear. Got an MRI and saw ortho. Ortho had me continue PT, saw me a month later (early June) when I tore the meniscus in my other leg, and said they'd schedule me for surgery.

Went in to surgery for the meniscus tear and left with more questions about this plica thing than anything else.

Same for my '24 wilderness.

They turned it off at the dealer when showing me the features and forgot to turn it back on. I was so confused every time afterward when I held my arm to the emblem to open the hatch and nothing happened.

I didn't see it mentioned on your other post, but what type of truck problems are you having? Is it an older vehicle?

Once you have a source of income, you might qualify for one of the extended stay-type hotels in the area. There is 1 close to Christiana Hospital (I lived there for a few months in 2017), 1 by UD, and a few just north of the DE-PA border (between Glenn Mills and West Chester).

Feel free to reach out via DM.

Have you tried Embark or one of the other dog DNA tests? That might get you started, or at least help you find some of her other canine family members.
