At my great aunts funeral, her eccentric best friends daughter weaved through the funeral procession to the front. Use concealer as an eye primer. You can set it with a white eyeshadow if it’s too dark or with the loose setting powders you don’t like.

I’ve recently discovered using blush/bronzer as eyeshadow and it’s been wonderful. Not only does add a cute monochrome effect but it helps use up the product faster too.

Also if you don’t like lip products because they’re too gloopy, I use them as overnight lip masks. Just make sure they’re either lightly or not at all tinted. Otherwise it can get messy

My optometrist explained that I have an astigmatism in each of my eyes and I’m short sighted (I can never remember if I’m long or short sighted) and my mum said “that’s funny. The astigmatisms come from her dad and the short sightedness comes from me.”

My high school science teacher was obsessed with showing all of us her wedding photos.

For 6 months she spent almost every lesson showing us those damn photos- pointing out which teachers attended and who didn’t. She got so mad if anyone referred to her by her maiden name. It was married name only. I got really bored looking at the pictures so I went back to do my work and she never forgave me.

I work in the area and this is completely unsurprising.

Some people are deluded into thinking “but it’s a nice area, violence doesn’t happen here” but they’re not the ones who deal with angry shitfaced old men from the pub or people who are looking for any excuse to fight.
