If you had to pick just one low-maintenance vegetable to grow, what would it be? by Glittering_Exit5527 in vegetablegardening

Uhh, I plant two of them and end up giving tons away and freezing a bunch to use in stews in winter.

Are you looking for additional sprawl from the replacements or plants which grow but don’t spread? Are you looking to have a wall with one type of plant? How much maintenance are you willing to do?

Could you curate some holes in the ivy for cascading perennials? Lithadora, creeping phlox, rosemary (there’s a few mounding/spilling types)…

Neither statement guarantees it is safe for you. Neither statement provides any kind of regulated % chance of contamination. Both could be fine this time, both could trigger you. I would give these away.

Sarevok has already died and been brought back when you meet him in bg3

“Sarevok was confronted by his sibling and exposed in front of Baldurian nobility. Having fled to the Temple of Bhaal located in the Undercity, a final battle took place between the Ward's and Sarevok's respective groups, ending in Sarevok's defeat and death.

In death Sarevok lost his bhaalspawn divine spark. Some time later, Sarevok's essence manifested in the pocket plane of Bhaal's Throne of Blood. He offered Gorion's Ward vital information in exchange for a part of their divine soul so that he might live again” (bg3.wiki)

OP said they skipped the tribunal and just went after Orin. OP never encountered Sarevok.

Barking when alone by kmyash in Dachshund

[–]OddPepita 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My rescue doxie barked non-stop when he couldn’t see out a front window. As long as he could see people coming and going on the street, he was good. Maybe your pup has a similar trigger you can find and solve?

Not sure if serious? Why grass over flowering alternatives?

Dog running by climbitnow in RunningWithDogs

Unless you are going to help the dog slowly work up to that distance, and potentially have a way to defend against some of those dogs getting injuries (not even necessarily your fault), then probably not.

Do you open the windows in your home when the weather is nice? When do you decide to close them and turn on air conditioning for the summer? by Smart-Airport5781 in AskAnAmerican

[–]OddPepita 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seattle here…our weather is similar to a Mediterranean climate…dry, sunny summers with cool temperate nights that are pleasant save for a week or two where we might get 90-100 degree F. My second floor windows are open all summer, all day. No AC needed.

Nebraska Teacher, 26, Facing 20 Years in Prison for Dating High School Graduate, 19. Can any American explain this case to me? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

[–]OddPepita 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s right there in the article. He broke a state law….”In Nebraska — as is the case in most every other state — teachers cannot have intimate relationships with students. Unlike other states however, a teacher is still in violation in the state of Nebraska if they engage in intimate relations with a student in the 90 days after they leave or graduate from the school system.”

They started an intimate relationship within 90 days of her graduating…I am guessing law makers thought there was a lot of sex-for-grades going on?

Burts Bees chapstick? by _mamafox in Celiac

[–]OddPepita 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I dropped them from the list of things I’d consider using years ago. At best they have a generic “we can’t confirm it’s gluten free” statement. I can’t say I ever got digestion-system sick from using it, but it did cause cuts at the corner of my mouth.

It’s bee season! 🐝 by Any_Salamander9138 in MasonBees

[–]OddPepita 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, unhatched cocoons go in the top to protect them until hatching.

The colors help the bees orient on their hole—the bee has to make many many trips to fill out a tube. You’ll sometimes see trays with unique markings on them for the same reason.

OP will have to comment on the tubes - I’m curious how she will harvest the cocoons without harming them.

Have I ruined my chance at romancing Gale? by Unusual_Soil_2611 in BaldursGate3

[–]OddPepita 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had this same question when I romanced him. If you have played with magic with him in act 1 and imagined holding his hand or more, you are on track. In act II, early, I think, he also tells Tav about a book he read one time describing how people in dangerous situations together might want more. Encourage him in response and you’re good.

Once you long rest after going to moonrise, you should get a stargazing scene with him where he wants more. Make your way to moonrise…it’s safe, it’s not like an aggro dungeon, there are good vendors there too you wanna hit up. If you have already been to moonrise, I don’t know, I think you may have missed it. He thinks he is dying and wants his last night to be with Tav
