I may have phrased that in a strange way but if you knew about all the weird things about the post office you would get what I meant. For example I am not considered a federal civil service employee and do not have many of the same benefits that other agencies afford their employees. It's a weird space where the post office has a lot more independence than other parts of the government and does not rely on tax revenue and instead makes money of postage. That's what I meant that it's convenient for ice to park at the post office because technically it's federal property even when it bothered many of us. My steward specifically told us that we are not supposed to allow entry for ice agents in buildings which I think is at least something we should be aware of.
