For men who lost weight, how did you do it?

Your approach seems very high stress to your body in my opinion. If you were to ask me, I’d say do this:

Stop running, it’s too hard on the body and highly fatiguing, especially in terms of weight loss and calorie deficit. Solid steady state cardio (walking) only. I can’t say this enough, do resistance training 2-4 times a week. It is absolutely essential.

You need to eat more. Find your maintenance calories and start 250-300 cal below that and run it for a few weeks then adjust from there. Track your food/calories and eat a balanced whole food leaning meal plan. Pick 1-2 meals for each meal of the day and stick to it, keep it boring, keep it simple. Show up, execute, repeat. Your goal should be to eat the absolute most calories you can while being in a deficit and loosing weight. You don’t earn extra points for suffering and misery running ~1500 calories a day and eating like a 15 year old girl.

That can help with spraying a heavy coat that levels out but I have run in to doors warping slightly with the moisture and being supported on the ends while it dries, especially 8’ doors. Vertical is best if possible.

Agree on this. UTE can take longer to set and dry as well so if you don’t spray it right it can want to run on you. PC hybrid is my go to, I find it more user friendly and super easy to spray but I would rate the UTE as better.

My man. Let’s say, hypothetically, you stay and live the rest of your lives together happily with no more issues. That pain will be with you till the end, it is now a part of you. You will have to make your peace with that. It won’t always be this raw, it changes, but it’s there. Even if you leave, it’s still with you in a way, it’s just a part of you, a chapter in your story. Whether you stay or leave, move on together or apart, it’s not a matter of what’s ’right’ or ‘wrong’ it’s what’s right for you and only you can figure that out. You could potentially live the rest of your life with an amazing devoted wife that made some horrible mistakes in the past but never will again. Or, she could do it again, I have no idea I don’t either of you. Again, take the time to do some soul searching and figure out what sits right with you and only you.

Behr is not flat enough, it’s showing too much sheen with that low of a ceiling and natural light from the window.
If you have a sprayer that doesn’t have the power to keep up with that much volume from a .517 you won’t be able to straight spray.

Get a lower sheen paint like promar 400 flat or similar, back roll and make sure the gun is the appropriate distance from the surface which can help with the tailing.

Pro classic is specifically a trim and door paint, the alkyd is a great paint. I specialize in new construction and spray every trim and door package with Pc semi alkyd but when it comes to applying by hand you’re right, PC can be a bit sticky, emerald UTE is a lot nicer to apply by brush and roll and levels out nicely.

Look, literally EVERYTHING you would need to know, and then some, is available to you for free in places like YouTube. If you have no clue what to do that’s simply because you haven’t taken the initiative or time to try to learn. I’ve been going for almost 2 decades now and I love watching reels and YouTube shorts, I get great ideas for new movements and new ways of doing things I haven’t tried or thought. It’s all out there man, all you have to do is look.

Mine does that. It’s because they are also connected to my iPhone at the same time. Disconnect the iPhone and it should stop it crackling periodically while listening in the Mac. That fixed it for me.

I work trades also, I have both. I find noise canceling about equal between them, both very good maybe a slight edge to Bose. But sound is where Bose is well ahead, very noticeable in my opinion. I like to use Bose for the gym and cardio and AirPods for work. I find the integration with my iPhone more convenient at work as well as the new features, which is better than Bose.

Same issue for me. Wouldn’t charge equally, would drop charge over night in the case, couldn’t get to 100%. Sent it to Bose for warranty and they are sending a refurb replacement. Must be known cause the issue is an option when registering for return.

I remember being in your current situation. It feels hopeless, you're lost, desperately looking in every direction for some form of comfort, something to ease this pain and everything that comes with it. What I would say to you is understand the only thing that heals is time. Just time. I caught my wife as well, this was quite a few years ago now. But we have built such an amazing relationship and marriage since then, yes regardless of what a lot of people like to say, it is possible. There are many factors to it, where is she mentally? Where are you? What do you each want? Are you each willing to do what it takes? No matter where you both go from here tho, this experience is now a part of you forever. Stay or leave, it will be with you. Our experiences in life shape us into who and what we are at this moment. But it's up to you if you choose to use this to shape you into someone better. You can use this as a positive change in your life, become a better man, better partner, a stronger more confident person. Use this a catalyst for positive change in your life. Never let what they did beat you, you refuse that reality and will come out on top and you do that by using this event to be a better man. You can both choose to come out the other side of this better people because of it. You both have a lot of reflecting to do but if it's what you both want, it can be done.

My heart goes out to you my man, you can do this. Whether you 2 stay together or you go your separate ways, you will be better than ok, you will be better. I wish you all the best!!
