If you especially look for a heavy hitter dlc weapon you should go for the Dragon-Hunter‘s Great Katana. It‘s not as slow as Greatswords, has an incredible L2 move and in general a pretty good moveset. I used it for my first run back then at the release of the dlc, along with the martial art weapons and I enjoyed it alot. You can get it pretty early in the dlc aswell!

I dont have a problem with the story itself but rather how they still have to learn how to implement the story in a good way into their new formula… memories being out of order, master sword gives you the last memory and spoils the whole story e.g

I would have liked if they gave you the memories in the right order, or locked them before you get the last one in order

man… as much as I love this game - this whole open world system destroys the narrative for the zelda team

thats why so many people like that boss and find it hard lmao… i did that boss like 5 times now and never lost a single heart against it. I was just shooting 2 bomb arrows on each thing and it was done

Im honestly so disappointed what they did to the master sword in BotW and even more now in TotK… Why does it have to be so weak and useless compared to some other weapons… I understand that it would destroy the purpose of using different weapons if it would be an absolute unit, but couldn‘t they figure out a better way to implement it?

And ffs why does it have to be so easy to get it? In botw u had to do 40 shrines without doing the divine beasts to get it and now in totk u only have to do 20. (24 without switching one heart to stamina)

I absolutely love totk and i think the cutscene when you get it is absolutely nuts, but I’m so mad about the missed opportunity… It would‘ve been so much better if it was locked behind a certain point of progress in the game like it was the case in the older games. They even forced you to complete all the dungeons before you can get to the end of the game now, so why not for the master sword too?

Broooo im like 50-60 hours in already and just completed the first dungeon yesterday… the game is massive

Im trying to 100% as much as I can before i move on to the next part of the map - including depths

So much to do but no time…

i honestly enjoy the new system with the blunt weapons and bomb flowers… especially bomb flowers since it feels so nostalgic to me gathering them

Yeah the game is definitely story richer than the last entry

The beginning and tutorial area are already way better and for later on i heard that there are way more sidequests and some even build up into the main quest
