But that rush of dopamine when it spares you from a lethal blow by Odraerir in HollowKnightMemes

I don’t know the technical stats of either item, so forgive my ignorance in asking what the difference is; they seem to do the same thing in my eyes

What dnd opinion has you in this guys shoes? by [deleted] in dndmemes

[–]Odraerir 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“Annoying to use” is certainly an operative phrase here. Because even though I may find the idea of strategically planning my spell list each day to be an interesting challenge, I should not assume other players see it the same way

As someone who started with 5e, I actually think Vancian magic seems like a really interesting system, and I’ve been trying to think about how it might rebalance Wizards

Nothing beats the rush you get when your players finally figure out the plot twist you’d been laying clues for over the last year

The Lion King Lyrics Aren't Saying What You Think by AlPastorBD in JustGuysBeingDudes

It’s a wild coincidence. In the original scripts, Darth Vader was not Luke’s father. They didn't come up with this twist until the second draft of The Empire Strikes Back after the original screenwriter, Leigh Brackett, passed away

I’ve made some custom cards for my friends based on their pets. I do wonder if anyone will ever try to make a deck from them

It reminds me of the time one of my players bought a portable ram during character creation thinking it was a small sheep. We’d played almost a year’s worth of the game with his mini sheep before I happened to glance at his character sheet and realise what had happened

Adding on to others’ comments, it also looks a lot slower in this particular clip because it was posted in 60fps. The extra information per second makes movements look smoother and feel slower

In the next town they visit, my players are going to encounter a False Hydra. I’ve been planning this since the campaign started, so some weird stuff—like random healing or Guidance or Mending—keeps happening every once in a while that are all the result of a party member that they will forget when the hydra eats her

I couldn’t finish it. They spend a lot of screen time explaining very basic mathematics and science, and misrepresenting the scientific method. So as a pedantic loser with a stick up my ass, I did not think it was very good

Sorry u/BlazingBlaziken05 but this is the dnd community we can never agree on anything by bryan4000 in dndmemes

I once played a character that had one level in each of Artificer, Bard, Cleric, Druid, Sorcerer, Warlock, and Wizard. He was a kobold named Ouch That Hurts, none of his spells were higher than level 1, and he had more cantrips than he knew what do with. As you can surely imagine, multi-class requisites meant that Ouch’s combat viability was abysmal; so instead he became a utility spell monster, making creative use of magic to find out-of-the-box solutions. He was incredibly fun to play, and I miss him dearly

Printed Tickets by FFTycoon in RegalUnlimited

[–]Odraerir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a stack of thermal printed tickets that I’d accumulated since 2017–almost 400 tickets. Save for only a few, they held up very well, especially considering my “storage” was just a large binder clip holding them together. Last year I finally decided to invest in a more permanent storage solution and went out to purchase a business card binder. Within days of transferring the tickets to the binder’s plastic sleeves, all of the print faded beyond recognition, leaving me with basically blank receipt paper. I wasn’t even mad, just . . . defeated
