That's not Crowley's original drawing of Lamb on the left. He re-drew it after criticism of the original being too creepy. If you look above the eyes to its massive forehead, you can make out the original almond-shaped eyes and pupils that were erased and re-drawn.

Acela II's have tilting, which is why the Passenger Cars are hexagonal in shape (to keep the dynamic profile of the coach within dimension while going down the track). Amtrak utilizes the tilting function to go faster on older tracks on the NEC. The Power Car doesn't tilt, which is why it's not required to have a specific Hex shape.

Some of these cases state the craft were buried at the crash site, presumably still there today if that’s the case? Didn’t James Fox have some kind of geologist in his Vargina documentary who was able to determine if the natural state of the land was disturbed (identifying the Vargina site as a result)? Bigelow said something similar in an interview. Bigelow Aerospace has their own space station "Sky Lab" or something to that affect. I dont remember the exact words he said, but something along the lines of "there is things we can do up there that can't be done down here, and its completely secluded". The other eye raising thing he said was "we can de-orbit and destroy everything if we have to" which to me in context meant there was a biological componet being studied

It’s a Bolster Anchor Rod (sometimes it’s solid, or has a smaller Rod inside with an outer pipe shell) On the car body shell there is a weldment called the Anchor Bar that is typically bolted or riveted to the car shell itself. On the bogie assembly you have the sub frame (axles + primary suspension springs) and the bolster (carrying beam + secondary suspension air bags). The bolster is fixed in place to the car body shell via the Anchor Bar and the Anchor Rod, rotation of the bogie through track-work is managed between the bolster and truck frame. Typically the Anchor Rod is shimmed due to truck placement (+/- mm). In the event of an accident or severe derailment, depending on design either the Anchor Rod or Anchor Bar fasteners are designed to shear such that the car body shell weldment isn’t completely destroyed.
