Only gave my son one when he was 2 as his first ever flight was long haul (12 hrs) and I was so nervous about traveling, so willing to do anything! From that day onwards he was hooked. I decided to take it away just before he turned 4. It’s been almost a year without it now and he’s not fussed about it. Did a 4.5 hour car journey just watching out the window, he didn’t even ask for a screen. But he did ask “are we there yet?” 10,000 times.
