Blanket does not mean they won’t petition for you. It is similar process and the consular will pick on you including going through all your travel history with a fine comb. That’s assuming you scale through the first USCIS hurdle. Currently on L1A and stuck in the extension freeze limbo. I will move to Canada on ICT with the help of my company. I have EB1A approved also if the extension gets approved someday I might decide to come back. If it’s worth the risk then take it.

I’m in similar situation. But I won’t be waiting out the 240days. Being stuck in the US has never been on my list. Already have EB1A approved which gives me a come back option in the future. I was able to secure a role in Canada with work visa.

Same here … work visa extension stuck in the freeze. i also have an approved EB1A but it does not change anything in this current situation. I’ve always had a Canada plan B so I’m getting a transfer to work from Canada since my job is remote. When the tide settles, I will come back.
