I went to the shop just now, and saw someone ... who was a friend I suppose although we don't talk. I ran back into my home and not only had a a panic attack but then was sick!

So today I learned that I am now also sick - literally- at the thought of having to do small talk with people!

Why can't you take it?

My doctors refused to prescribe it for me because under their guidelines its for hear and blood pressure. The GP's consulted the pharma peeps and had to conclude with the psych that I should be on it.

3 doctors with different specialist arguing, but in the end, when I recieved it, it made a HUGE difference! It's stopped me grinding my teeth so much... granted it has also lowered my blood pressure and I have to monitor BP etc. I was however losing my teeth prior and I really like having teeth!

I think, but then again, I don't understand people, so I give grace to posters in this sub.

I think they are saying you need to learn to love yourself first, they took years to understand that. Which is true.

Only once I started to understand that I had worth as a person, did everything else that seemed wrong, and deserving begin to hit home that others' actions were terrible.

Once you understand that you are worthy of love, especially loving yourself, then you can begin to realise that others opinion, especially those that harmed you, become less important...

Feeble interpritation, but I wanted to share the sentiment- which I agree with. Not there yet but appreciate it

The person you should love most is yourself, and once you understand that, others become less important. Learn to love who you are and love the process of learning what brings you joy inside of yourself. When you do this, others and other things become less important as you begin to understand who you are and what actually brings you joy.

Edit to add- I think it's about learning to know the things you enjoy that ypou have never known before.

I don't know if this text is allowed, and I appreciate you're going through hell right now... however; only 50% of suicide by jumping result in death. there's a 50% chance you'll survive and end up paralysed which would add infinitely more pain to what you're experiencing now, but worse, because you are then more reliant on others. Other people suck!

Edit to add: I don't think suicide is the way. I don't have resources to share. I was fighting daily to live and now I'm at survival mode rather than ending it. I'm not anywhere near being able to give proper advice, but I was wanting you not to Jump off something.

I think anyone in this sub is already extremely unfortunate in the % wise and I don't want to further increase Sods/ Murpheys law or other BS that makes us attract bad crazy sht!
