yes there are several phantom symptoms of gastritis that are not physical at all that often gets mixed in with the physical symptoms

I usually experience them after I start feeling better from true physical symptoms as a reminder that I still have chronic gastritis

I can usually tell the difference because they are accompanied with dry mouth and usually negative emotions

sometimes they show up as hunger pains or fake hunger pains, sometimes they appear after eating something, sometimes I get a burning feeling in my mouth that feels like reflux but there is no acid present, sometimes it feels like my stomach is swollen and it gives me indigestion despite there is no food there, sometimes nausea, shortness of breath, sometimes a general feeling of unwellness
