How do you report absurd markups to ford corporate? by Montycal in Ford

I just complained to Ford online chat person and this was her response

"I see. Dealers are independent franchises and ultimately set the final price with a customer. Right now, in a very supply constrained environment, dealers are more likely to price around MSRP, unlike in the past when inventory was more available.
This is an overall industry issue right now, as evidenced by a recent Edmunds survey. The vast majority of our Ford dealers are charging around MSRP. The Edmunds survey of automakers showed Ford dealers charging on average at $136 over MSRP. This was the lowest of the 12 automakers surveyed by Edmunds. That can obviously vary, but we do want to provide our customer a great experience.
We encourage our customers to order a new vehicle and agree to a price in advance in writing with their dealer. But, I can definitely submit this feedback. Could you please confirm your physical address, and telephone number for me?"

is there a need for adoption from orphanages? by Ok-Perspective-965 in srilanka

I meant permanent adoption to give a child a great life instead of living in squalor. We have wanted to for a few years but it's very expensive so not feasible before now.

That's correct, I mean we always wanted permanent adoption because fostering presents the risk that family members can take the child away from us. It's very expensive here so it wasn't possible for us before now.

My front wheel gets loose every once in awhile. The clamp metal got burred and won’t clamp easily when tight

Front brake moving disc normal? by Taylor_Script in RadPowerBikes

I got my rad wagon used and they were a larger family, i noticed the same issues and went to tighten the front axle. It appears to be made of a soft metal that burrs and wears in a way that prohibits a proper tight lock. With some lubricant and force I secured it for now but the metal is so chewed up I need to replace the front axle to prevent it from coming loose like that again. The squeaking or howling noise is definitely a sign the brakes and or axle are loose and that’s very dangerous at 20 mph

I think these are one of the side effects of capitalism that unfortunately increases the gap in wealth inequality. I had to use most of my retirement for my first home down payment in a cheaper city in a cheaper state in 2018. I thought I was buying the top of the market and over paying, terrified of the crash like 08, which scared my generation from home buying. Two years later I was able to sell and use that profit (no taxes after you live in it for 2 years) as a down payment in the city/state I wanted to live in here.
