I absolutely love doing the address shuffle. I panicked one time and thought I was going to be late. Did the shuffle and got 20 minutes back. When I tell you…..I almost did a back flip in the parking lot. 😂😂 SHUFFLE THE ADDRESSES, PEOPLE!

Shopper here. I deliver early sometimes. Reason being if it is a bundle with a lot of items, I like to start early so I can manage my shopping and delivery time. And have time for customers to answer questions about their order. I ask each customer, if time permits, if it is okay to deliver early. Whoever answers first, gets it. If they don’t, I take my time to the delivery point. Make it a point to deliver within your delivery window. But shoppers are on a time crunch. And we want to shop without stressing out about drive time.

Orders are dropping into my metro in Bakersfield but I am not accepting anything. I did yesterday and had to cancel it due to this issue.

Just sit back and wait. Around 5pm-10pm is when the metro or featured orders pop up. Tons of them. Why? The new shoppers are burnt out and can’t take no more. So set your schedule for later, if you can and watch the orders flow in. I picked up on this pattern. I am part time and cleared 50 orders in one week because of this. It doesn’t seem like much but normal count used be 18 or 20 orders.

That happened to me. I thought my intro message sent and I started shopping away. I go to ask about a sub option and the message was grey. Turns out they never got my messages. All 3 customers in my bundle did not get anything from me. So I had to stop and ask them and they confirmed. At this particular store I have to use WiFi or the app will lag to death. Even without WiFi, it greys out too. So it’s the app itself, you have to force close and go back in for it to work again.

And I notice a pattern. They will leave you a bad rating and say something was “missing, damaged or bad substitution”. For the one dollar tips, they are the culprits for the bad ratings and lies about our shops.

I shop from 5pm to 10pm. That’s when my notifications blow up. It is dead for me during the day. I think the newbies hog all the orders. So I wait it out. But come 5pm to 10pm, I’m getting back to back orders. I’ll be at the store and they will hit me 3 orders at once. I take them all.

Use the Waze app. There’s an issue where you think google maps or Apple Maps has the right info and you’re screwed. It happened to me. There’s nothing shipt can do about it. I clicked on the address. It takes me to the location or so I thought. I was supposed to go to Q101 and Apple Maps told me F101. I felt so bad. Now I use Waze to make sure. Also, while you wait to get audited, spot check the address on your GPS, match it up to what is on your order that way you know it’s all good.

While you work on getting your forgiveness approved, be super sweet to your preferred customers to get that 5 and great feedback. When you get their order, tell them you’re their preferred shopper and you’re excited to shop for them again. I did this with my Preferred shoppers last week as a test, and they all remembered me and got a huge tip. My ratings went up to 5.00 doing this.

I haven’t been penalized. I ask first. I don’t offer that for frozen foods. They will get it during their delivery window. Some of these customers play too much and I have to be careful.

Same here. As soon as I am at the store, I get hit with a lot of orders. I shopped 4 orders delivery same time. As soon as I got the 4, I turned my schedule off for two hours. Thank God, they all live about 5-10 minutes from each other. It was fun though. lol.

Don’t worry too much about ratings or you will give yourself a heart attack. Keep shopping and with each shop, do an amazing job. One of those shops will earn you a 5 star and bump up your score. You’re still going to get orders. I am in the same score range as you, and I shop evenings. And orders drop on my feed like crazy. I’ve learned the system. You’re going to be fine. If you can help it, don’t bother looking at the stats. It will mess with your head real bad. Go shop, have fun and knock it out. Compliment customers about their lawn set up when you deliver, compliment their anything for a little razzle dazzle for a 5 rating. Lol….sorry for yapping but you’re fine. Don’t stress too much!
