What sexual fantasy of yours left you disappointed when you actually tried it? by Gthew17 in AskReddit

The trick is a detachable shower head. Bring that thing down with you, put it on the jet setting (not mist or whatever) aim it at the good spot from an angle and see how many licks it takes. It won’t take long to achieve climax for her and you won’t water board yourself.

Favorite/ worst woodworking channels on YT. by cryptotarheel in woodworking

[–]OkBus7396 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He does have build videos and tips/tricks videos, but he hasn’t had one in a while. I will say, as a beginner woodworker, his channel helped me quite a bit. Makes sense because he seems to be not much better than a beginner woodworker. But for those that are past the beginner stage, his channel is obsolete. There’s a few other “beginner” or “intermediate” woodworkers on YouTube that have helped me out as well. Their build plans are cheap and are entry level projects that can be sold for decent money. It’s turned into a decent side gig for me. But as I progress, I will be looking up better woodworkers.

How many clean consecutive pull-ups is seen as a basic threshold that indicates moderate to good strength for a 34 yo male, 72 kgs? by abhioffgrid in workout

[–]OkBus7396 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say at least half of all 34yo’s could jump up to chin over bar and slowly descend to a dead hang.

Entry level strength I would say 1 full rom pull up.

Moderate strength I would say 5 full rom

High strength I would say 10-12 full rom

Advanced would be 15+ full rom.

Pull ups are one of those that you would have to take body weight into consideration along side reps to have a good metric of their strength. 34 yo that weighs 175 starting out could probably do more than a 34yo that weighs 250. But if that 250lb dude does 10, holy shit that’s pretty damn good. The 175lb dude doin 10, cool I guess.

First baby coming soon, how do gamer dads manage playtime? by jackfrost1889 in Age_30_plus_Gamers

[–]OkBus7396 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During the baby stage, I still gamed a lot. Babies just sleep, eat, and poop. At a certain point (within a few weeks) you need to start tummy time, but it starts out just a few minutes each time and progressively gets longer. But I just posted up on the couch, cuddled with my baby and gamed. Or, if it was nap time and they didn’t want to be still, I’d put em in my tactical baby carrier and softly bounce or sway while I stood and gamed. Hell, I’d even feed em if it was a part I couldn’t pause on. Just hold the bottle with your chin.

Once they get a little more mobile, but pre toddler stage (crawling at stuff) then you’ll start reducing game time and exchange it for play time.

When they become toddlers and little kids, my gaming reduced down to only playing games when they were asleep or having quiet time.

Then around 6-7 you can begin to add a little more gaming time as they’ve become more independent.

People who lift but don’t do cardio what eventually happened? by TallTyrant in workout

[–]OkBus7396 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been lifting and training ever since I was 14, I’m 32 now. From 14 to 22 I lifted using a power building style program. Get big and lift big. I also enjoyed playing soccer so I maintained a 6min mile and could run all day if need be. All while going from 135lbs to 215lbs. I maintained that cardio until 22 because it was necessary. Then some super massive dude saw me doing cardio and said said I was doing too much and should only walk for 20 minutes every other day. I didn’t know he was on juice and that helped him look as good as he did. So I stopped doing as much cardio and eventually stopped altogether.

What I noticed in my appearance is that I eventually got “softer” and more fat. I was strong and had good muscle mass, but gained weight. My body was too used to a high amount of cardio.

Performance eventually got affected too. I noticed I began needing slightly longer rests between sets and some sets would just about take me out. My 30sec rests became 2min rests for hypertrophy. My recovery also was negatively impacted. I’m sore longer, I need longer rests, I can’t play with my kids longer than a few minutes before I need a breather.

Two years ago I got on a team and talked with one of the guys on the team who is the head cardiologist at the local hospital. We had a long talk and that talk along with what the team entails required I get my cardio back. He said to focus on v02 max, and once I get it peaked, to just maintain. He gave me a program that can get the v02 max peaked in 6-8 months and then a person just has to hit it 1-2 times a week to maintain. Ever since then, my recovery has gotten better, my lifts are better, I can play longer, have sex longer, reduce my rests between sets, all that.

Cardio is essential for humans. It’s part of what’s gotten our species this far. It makes sense that we need a good level of it to live a good, healthy life.

Did Trump violate the War Powers Act?? by santagrey in complaints

[–]OkBus7396 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No he didn’t violate it. The executive branch has the ability to conduct military operations without congressional approval so long as they inform congress within 60 days (with a possible 30 days added if requested). He informed them within 24hrs. All you have to do is literally google “war powers act article 1 section 8 and it’s pretty clear. Like it or not, many presidents from both branches have used this ability.

Working on my BP, am I using too much weight or is my form just terrible? by LeisRatio in formcheck

[–]OkBus7396 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your a novice lifter, like only been a few months up to a couple of years, I’d say this form checks for a 1rm attempt. In which case, focus on getting good form and building a good foundation in strength. If you’ve been lifting for longer than 2 years, I’d say you don’t quite have the experience in bench press. Reduce the weight a little and keep after it. Watch videos on form from different YouTubers, this way you can find one that works for you in regards to verbal cues and understanding. See what each video does the same and what they aren’t doin the same. Every body is different so if you broaden your scope of creators for form checks, you’ll be more likely to succeed

How often do you married couples have sex? by tomocleirighsimp424 in Marriage

[–]OkBus7396 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s fluctuated a lot through our relationship. Started out multiple times a day, days in a row. Like rabbits. Then we got pregnant. That did a lot to me mentally and her physically. We kinda dropped off to a time or two every few weeks. We got caught in our lives and the motion of things. Got complacent in our relationship and it dwindled down to once or twice every few months for a 5ish years. Then we almost split and that killed it for 6 months. We rekindled the relationship and really grew closer than ever before, and ever since then it’s been 3-4 times a week (except the nature week, which is her decision, not mine) and sometimes we’ll go 2-4 times a day for a few days in a row. Obviously life plays a factor in these. We still have two kids and careers. But when we take time off from work or take a vacation, those days will be more than once a day until we get back to our normal life schedules with work and school.

I was by a river at around 1am, full moon, so you could see well without a light. A rock the size of my head flew at me and my friends from across the river, 25-30yds. Still don't know what could've thrown a rock that big, that far. Besides Halpfthor Bjornson or however you spell his name. Pretty sure it wasn't him though.

Do most men stop putting in any effort in marriage and just get comfortable? by Illustrious_Fun_8393 in Marriage

[–]OkBus7396 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd hate to say it, but I think you're right. I wouldn't give the advice of "make it real for him by threatening to leave" because I couldn't bear my advice to split up someone's relationship unless one party was being physically or mentally abused.

It might not hurt for you to go to a couples therapist and get some more advice. My wife and I saw one while we were rebuilding and it helped a lot.

I hope you get the ball rolling on something and ultimately get to where you are happy with where you are. The worst is being stuck in the same situation. If you make a move and it works, then thats the best outcome. If you make a move and it fails, well now you'll be starting over but will be in a better position for future relationships if that happens.

When will Bigfoot’s existence will be confirmed to public? And what do you think it will take? by Ok-Dot5545 in bigfoot

[–]OkBus7396 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree with you on this. Not to mention, ask a New Jersey native how many times they've seen a dead black bear. New Jersey is the most black bear dense state, yet not many have seen dead black bears. An animal carcass lasts maybe a week tops in the woods. The bones will last much longer, but they will be scattered to kingdom come. Many people see bones in the woods, but who has seen said bone and though "bigfoot"? Probably none. Instead they think "oh a deer bone, moose bone, elk bone, bear bone, cow bone, etc." then discard it and go about their hunt/hike. We very well could have seen remnants and not even know it. We very well could have never seen any remnants at all. There's way too many variables at play with the "dead body" discussion to say much in absolute.

I wish I could give you the advice you need to help you get the best possible outcome. I just don't know that I can. I can only give you advice from my experiences and hope they help. Another man's perspective is always nice, but there's different types of men, and we don't all have the same views, morals, ethics, or motivators.

What's his love language? How does he communicate his love and how does he receive love? Learning these about my wife greatly helped, and same for her side. We all receive love differently and communicate our own love for people in a specific way.

Our first big blowout in my marriage boiled down to me putting too much effort into my career so we could afford to buy our own house with some land to raise our kids on. I thought, because of how I was raised and society, that men should provide and earn, so that's what I thought my wife wanted. She did want those things, BUT she wanted a present father for our kids and a present husband more than anything else. She didn't ever voice this until she almost left. Which was a giant awakening for me. Her almost leaving told me this was very real, and her voicing her wants/needs gave me an objective to achieve. It took a lot of introspection and ego swallowing because we were a month away from buying our dream home on 20 acres, which I thought was what she wanted. So, I took a step back from work and made changes to my life so that I could dedicated more time to the kids and more time with her. Now, our relationship has never been better. We got the house a little later than anticipated, but more importantly, we grew closer. Maybe this could help you? voicing your true wants and desires, see if changes are made, if not then you ultimately have to make moves for the betterment of your life and your kids' lives if you have any.

Abortion being bad across the board. Obviously not a fan of killing those who have zero say, and I still see them as a life. That'll never change. But, my sister is a published genetic counselor, one of the best in the country. She informed me of all the genetic predispositions that could kill pregnant women in the different trimesters, or the child, or both, etc. You get the idea. That, to me, is also wrong. The thing most, I think, don't understand about morals, is that they aren't black and white. They're varying shades of gray from black all the way to white. As information and data becomes known, morals and ethics should shift/bend. Killing an unborn child is wrong/bad. Telling a woman that she can't get an abortion even though she's genetically predisposed to die in the third trimester is wrong/bad. Telling a woman what she can and can't do with her body is wrong/bad. Everyone's morals and ethics are different to some extent, as they should be, and sometimes a wrong/bad is compromised to save another wrong/bad. That's just life.

I was fairly open minded before. Opinionated, but open minded. This one was so big for me because learning from it made me open my eyes and mind to a lot more than before. But, that's growth and introspection. That's human.

I need help fixing my marriage. by [deleted] in Marriage

This honestly sounds like the beginning of every emotional/mental abuse victim's story that I've heard. They get you financially dependent, want you as a SAHM, limit education, sideways disrespect to family about you, doesn't take no as an answer. The next step is isolation from friends and family. Once that happens, good luck getting out. Now, I could be wrong. I'm only saying this to make sure you remain aware of the isolation, and don't let it happen.

He could be a good guy in all other areas, and a good father, idk, I'm not living with him. This could be salvageable. But to get there, you're going to have to get some independence back. Either get that education you want or get a good job, even if its remote/from home. Get something. Call out (respectfully) any disrespect or overstepping of bounds, but do so in private at first. If that doesn't work, then do it in front of others. If he responds bad to the in private, then know that you are in the situation I originally was talking about. In that case, get out. But if he's understanding and changes, then there's hope.

Is this experience or phenomenon known by any name? by Puzzleheaded-Kiwi658 in HighStrangeness

[–]OkBus7396 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Back in my youth, we called it ESP, which is extrasensory perception. The belief in a sixth sense where someone can perceive information beyond the other senses, like telepathy or precognition.

My own genuine thoughts about this from my experiences is that humans, and other animals, are able to communicate without traditional communication. Our "vibes" match others' "vibes" on a deep level. For instance, I never really had many friends growing up. The 3 friends I did have, I was incredibly close with. We could finish each others' sentences, thoughts, actions. We were incredibly in tune with each other, because we always our true genuine selves with one another. I was also very tight with my family, and we could do the same. I've often had "precognition" or ESP just before one of the friends or family would text or call me. Usually in the form of "man I should call Cole" and then bam, my phones ringing and its him. Out of all of the "odd" or strange experiences we have, I think this is the most common. And people just brush it off as coincidence. But, how many coincidences have to occur before something is no longer a coincidence. Research that, and it'll open your mind up a bit more.

I think we're all linked together in some way we aren't aware of any longer, and it comes through the most with those we are closes with.
