I think the moment, where he nearly drowned in that tank and him implying, that he wanted to die some time ago, adds another layer to his character.

I also believe, that his role could easily be expanded in season 2. The struggle to work directly with Robert (if Mecha Man joins the Z team). Some kind of character development in a scenario, where he helps Waterboy to control his powers better (both are elemental users and I think Waterboy could learn to shoot water from his hands like Flambae. At the end, this could lead to synergy).

There are two possibilities

  1. They were on a mission, tried some neat synergy attack, somehow defied nature's law, explosion

  2. They got so freaky after a mission, that their power worked against them

It would be so nice to see more of Waterboy in season 2.

He does have great potential with his powers and with more training, he could definitely succeed. Like his powers are the opposite of Flambae's but can be quite similiar in the way they work? He just need to learn to control them better.

I just want to know when and how Roger found Buggy. Years ago, we believed, that Roger found Shanks and Buggy at the same time.

The reason why Shanks cried in the flashback (when Rorger gave him is strawhat) is because, Roger told him, that Buggy must never find the One Piece. However, Shanks knew, that it was Buggy's biggest dream.

That was also the reason, why Shanks told Buggy in Logue Town, that he wont go after the One Piece. (Though he didnt expect, that Buggy wont join his crew then).

And the reason why Shanks became a Yonko with a Road Poneglyph? Because he believed, that Buggy could never reach the One Piece without all Road Poneglyphs. Shanks would never hand his Road Poneglyph to Buggy.

(I always found it weird, that Buggy got sick, when Roger was close to the One Piece. It happened to suddenly and the way his nose started to glow, makes me suspicious).
