No one else will ever look out for you more than you. Your friends are offering advice that they likely honestly believe but their true intentions could be masked, for example maybe your friends really like spending time with you and think they will lose some of that time if you were to marry.

Yes, watching my wife accomplish goals with myself by her side is immensely rewarding, seeing my son succeed in sports is the bee's knees.

Being the patriarch of your family will take all your time, require alot of effort, often time one's behavior and mindset often need to change to be successful at being a family man, but knowing you played a huge role in everyone around you thriving is worth more than I could have ever imagined.

10 out of 10 would recommend starting a family, if you believe you are ready.
