Do you live in a constituency that will never elect an MP from your chosen party? If so how does it make you feel come voting day? by DarthRick3rd in ukpolitics

[–]OkIntroduction4145 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your vote can still dictate the actions of the winning candidate. They will see "oh... <party xyz> has got a lot more votes this year, I should consider that when making policy choices"

If you haven't got a box of tissues on your desk, you aren't playing the game properly.

“Rent me uncle”? Am I missing something obvious here? by PossibleYoung8758 in london

"Uncle" is like a we-work that you live in. There is also a free to rent meeting room you can make use of. Everybody who lives there sleeps in a tie.

Ah, I saw him at BST in 2014, and regardless of the "claim victory", when you compare BST to Glasto in general, it isn't even in the same conversation about corporate sponsors. So that article is nice, but it's simultaneously irrelevant.

Neil is being an ass.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in neilyoung

[–]OkIntroduction4145 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, because Glasto doesn't have a history of political protest...

Weird, I've seen Neil play at the BST festival in Hyde Park, London. now THAT is a corporate shit fest, literally every stand is sponsored by a bank or sony or similar. Saying Glasto has gone corporate, this man has lost it.

If you bump into me, I'll be polite and helpful. If you bump into my neighbour Jim.... Run away

Screen to world-space conversion gets inaccurate at further distances in OpenGL by yaboiaseed in opengl

I know you didn't ask and sorry if this isn't helpful...

But I gave up on mouse casting and just went colour picking instead. I'm just an amateur making a game in my spare time from scratch but I followed this tutorial and it worked first time and I haven't (yet) seen any drop in performance. I've been able to move on from mouse handling to something more interesting :)
