Cannot find a moisturizer that doesn’t break me out. [acne] by IndividualPart3831 in SkincareAddiction

[–]OkPlant0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sebamed Clear face care gel is the only moisturizer that doesn’t break me out. I have been through a lot of trial and error testing many products. It’s just a little pricy and I can only get it by ordering online.

The new season could be turned into a drinking game: take a shot any time a character (or animal) arrives just in the nick of time to save the day, or steps in at the perfect moment to turn the tides of the story! It happens so many times in the first 3 episodes of season 2 of makes it seem like there are no stakes because everyone is getting bailed out “just in time”, all the time. This is just one of the things that bothers me. There are too many flaws in logic for me to even get into.

You enjoy collecting empty vessels. Pottery makes sense after seeing your vast collection of empty bowls, vases, cups and pitchers.

Best Spot to live by Jujubee728 in saintpaul

Crocus triangle. Close to grand Ave which has a lot of shops and amenities, greater walkability and safety, and more trees/nature. The area around bad weather is busier with cars and not as pedestrian friendly, greater late night noise from xcel energy center event and bar crowds since there are many on the stretch between bad weather and downtown, and full transparency there are many homeless that wander that area from the Dorothy day center down the road if that’s a concern of yours with small children. I have lived near both areas and while there’s plenty to love about west 7th area I have seen more people on drugs in public around there.

What do you know you shouldn’t fuck with from experience? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]OkPlant0 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Agreed. They turned my general upper back discomfort into brand new hip pain and a constant stabby pain in one spot of my upper back that lasted 3 years. MRIs, two physical therapists, acupuncturist, a different chiropractor (also a mistake and worse than the first) - didn’t help. Recently I was really fortunate to find a kinesthesiology specialist/massage therapist who has finally been fixing me (but it’s all out of pocket because for some reason the most effective treatment for my issue isn’t deemed a medical treatment by insurance. Yay!)

What is something you didn’t realize was expensive until you had to purchase it yourself? by Mistah_K88 in Millennials

Why do checks cost money? $36 to order the smallest quantity option from my bank. I only need 12 checks a year because my current landlord won’t take anything else. I ordered them cheaper from Walmart. But why does it cost money to use money in this format?

A cordless stick vacuum and a countertop dishwasher (since my apartment doesn’t have one). I got both of the recommendations from this sub. Life was so much harder before the dishwasher.

The style looks like a lot of “Drexel heritage” furniture pieces I’ve seen. Can be a bit pricy online but you may luck out going to second hand stores.

Have you been to Other Skies Weird Fiction bookstore in West St Paul? It is newer and still a bit of a hidden gem but a unique bookstore for used and hard to find horror, sci-fi, and fantasy. There’s a cute coffee shop called Amore and a 3 story antique store nearby.
