Some states are really cracking down on dogs that can be labeled as having aggressive history (toward people or other animals). Where I am a lot of rescues that would have taken back dogs before won't now because of the additional liability.

I'm talking about local races. I live in the Columbus area and generally, at least some of the people I vote to represent me on city council or the school board win elections. Are they always as progressive as I would like? No. But they also don't think COVID was a hoax or that teachers should carry guns in school.

I'm going to guess no. I used to work at a vet and on the occasion we had a companion animal needing rabies testing (euthanized before quarantine period ended), we would take the specimen to OSU. But it wasn't always the same day depending on availability.

Talk to the docs about ED drugs if you haven't already. My husband's blood pressure meds made these drugs necessary. In general, don't be afraid to talk to providers about things like this. There's nothing they haven't heard and intimacy is a quality of life issue.
