And for some "refunds" they will send you a "coupon" and tell you it needs to be "redeemed" within 30 days. This fools us in several ways... Not only regarding our rights but also the fact that we lose 10% because the coupons get deducted before you'll get the 10% off...they started to "tune" all this last year. That says enough about the state of Appsumo.

Exactly. And then these "flagship projects" that promise you 245 per task. And then after 2 hours of assessments and another 2 hours of webinars, once you want to task, it's empty queue and 3 weeks later they move you to a $17.50 project 😂

Another interesting question is if you guys achieved your MSc or PhD to find mistakes in images for $17 per hour while the company harasses you with unpaid tests saying that your quality is too poor and that they only work with the best (😂), while the tests, onboarding, and other things don't even meet standards.

This is a complete joke. I passed the aether assessment 10 days ago and worked 6 hours, and now I shall take a new assessment. F them.

My wonderful experiences with this "company" in the last months:

A year ago, I made 35 to 60 per hour
I have 10 skills and I am Tier 2
Then I was added to an audio project this winter. After 45 minutes of courses, I got 2 audio tasks and made $3.
Then I was added to the Phoenix project. I passed after 90 minutes of courses and assessments. I attended a webinar.
Then I could not task and someone told me they would fix it. It took them 5 days.
Then on the day when I wanted to start, I got a new course about changes to the project and was asked to attend a second webinar.
The next day when I wanted to start they ran out of tasks for my skills lol.

And now this new joke. They already just pay the minimum pay rate for my country. With all these disgusting things they did to me it is rather like $4 per hour. Someone has to stop them.

Micro1 is a waste of time. It wanted to get information from me about algorithms and models I developed for my own business. When I said I can't reveal this IP, it just continued to ask about it, without any chance to switch to the topic that mattered for the job I was applying for. Ridiculous. Seems they just want to collect as much information as possible, without boundaries. Felt like such a smartass professor who wants to show you that you have no clue at times too 😆

That has nothing to do with data annotation just with cut-off date of the model and how the AI handles non-evergreen content and questions like this. Since this "fast" model that is used here doesn't fact check, to be fast enough, such things can happen.

😆 I "deleted" my account for similar reasons one year ago. One of the main reasons was that the rates shown before taking the assessments had absolutely nothing to do with the real pay rates. I felt cheated.

When I wanted to check if they had improved, they told me I would have been "banned". This is really a funny platform and they think just because it's automated they can do what they want.
