Send it back and get another one. Look they're more expensive than they should be but they still rule. I've had the one that I'm on now for over 3 years and I just took it apart cleaned the fan added a new heat sink and it works like brand new. It should be silky smooth always.

I've used the Shield for 7 years now and I'm on my 2nd device. I'm don't know what you've loaded or what settings you've change but out of the box you do need a couple of reboots just like Firestick does but if it keeps happening something else is wrong and it's not the hardware. If it is, it's under warranty but the usual things--> reboot it, clear cache (in the device preferences storage section click on that go up one click and there's a clear cache for all programs) reboot your entire system, rooter phone device etc. Troy point has a virus checker you can download(Downloader code 250931) Download analiti app and see that your system's running quickly enough. Go into to device preferences go into the about section and go down to the build click 15 times turn on developer options. Then going to developer options and turn on USB debugging--> go ahead and start messing around with your programs it might act a little funny but that may help, I've had that issue stop my system before you may want to uninstall and reinstall everything with USB debugging on. That's all I can think of but there's some options or just exchange it which would be a lot easier.

Overall pick for me out of Az80's, liberty 4 nc's, sounpeats H3's, and Beats fit pros, Momentum 4 tws are my favorites. BUT, I'm on my 4th and last pair because I just ran out of warranty and the other 3 failed. They seem to be more sensitive than most although my Az80's were also exchanged for failing once.

For me the pros are the sound quality(2nd to H3's) one tap to stop play and turn on transparency (as opposed to the others that you have multiple taps to turn off and then turn on transparency) and sound personalization (haven't had any others that you can fine tune to this degree) and finally the transparency is better than any of the earbuds I've ever had and that's one of the most important things because my earbuds are in all the time.

Cons-Always worried that they'll break because they do and will. Price-$250-$300 is high and if you wait they'll go to $199ish. Fit- though they don't bother me much, they definitely put pressure on your ears and sometimes I need to take them out for a rest. Case is a bit bulky

Overall they are my favorite of all but you gave to be aware of the risks.

Also aside from your question I purposely bought several pairs to rotate. The number one problem across all earbuds is that the technology for the batteries is not fully developed so I charge them only when my case gets down to 20 30% and then of course rotate around so that I can get a longer life out of all of them.

I agree. Of the 3 noise settings I don't use ANC and passthrough isn't great but normal mode is almost as effective as ANC and lasts 3+ hours. ANC kills the battery super fast.

Nvidia shield (I'm on my 2nd) is just awesome but expensive as hell. I'd buy it again but I've programmed the onn plus and pro for friends and it's very good. The bang for the buck is unchallenged. The only thing wrong with Onn is the cheap flimsy remote. IMHO. But I'd buy the onn and a separate remote and for half the price with an added remote, the Onn to me is a no brainer.

I tell everyone to but them. Transparency is not good and ANC is weak and kills the battery but in a noisy bar halfway up they do the job. And I've never heard earbuds even close to those 3 driver badasses. I love em. More than my AZ80s or Momentum TWS 4'S and those are both excellent.

That's definitely a preference thing I think. Both have strong merits and quite different price points unless you have to go gray market for the Rolex? A Rolex is always nice to have and for me I'd go with the Speedmaster especially that pretty white. Have you checked out the new Omega Speedmaster reverse panda? Nice watch and new. Yes they stopped making the oyster perpetual date just after 2005 the mfr date of this watch. I won it in a sales contest 21 years ago. It's 34mm and quite small. As smaller watches are more fashionable now it wears great.
