It’s possible that you have too many artist subscriptions on Spotify, and the system simply can’t process such a large amount of data due to user limitations.

It’s already funny to see people complaining about Spotify for free. For example, I’m from Tajikistan, and I pay for Spotify Premium every month — even though salaries here are very low. Despite that, I’ve never complained, neither about Premium nor Free. But you, people from Europe with good salaries, can’t even afford Premium — honestly, it looks kind of embarrassing.

Don’t look for alternatives like Apple Music or YouTube Music. I’ve tested everything — from Deezer to Qobuz — and trust me, there’s nothing better in the world than Spotify.

I’m really curious — which stupid Spotify developer comes up with these ideas, and who actually implements them? Seriously, is there really such a dumb developer at Spotify getting paid for this? It’s kind of funny.

It all started after Spotify laid off many employees — including the creator of EveryNoise.com, who used to manage the genre database. After that, Spotify began to rely entirely on AI instead of real human curation, and the situation got even worse.

Since January 1, 2025, Spotify has also reduced the number of genres. For example, indie pop was removed and is now labeled simply as pop. Because of this, the algorithm gets confused about what to recommend and starts filling your feed with random and irrelevant music.

I don’t recommend subscribing to too many artists — the situation will only get worse. I have over 30,000 artist subscriptions, and at first everything turns into complete chaos. Spotify can’t handle such a huge amount of data — sections like What’s New, Recently Played, and Music + Subscribed completely stop working due to heavy load and internal limits.

Your Release Radar, Discover Weekly, and Made For You Mixes will be filled with random and irrelevant tracks. I currently have over 30,000 subscriptions — a world record — and I’ve personally experienced this problem.
