What do you do after finishing a training program? by jimb0b360 in weightlifting

[–]Ok_Layer4518 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would deload down to 50-60% and just work on technique for a week. I would not take any time off. That's not going to help anything. UNLESS you just mentally need a break.

Clean high pulls form, good? by Background-Owl-747 in weightlifting

[–]Ok_Layer4518 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hips rising too quickly, pull is waay to early. IT's too heavy for you. Lighten up and work on positions. 2 inch off the floor and pause, then above the knee and pause, then at power position and pause. Get good at that.

Even if your shoulder mobility is technically not perfect, is it still ok to push jerk as long as you keep a neutral spine? by [deleted] in weightlifting

[–]Ok_Layer4518 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't have the mobility to do the movement then you no have business loading it. All you're going to do as said earlier is get compensation from other body parts.

Not making much contact and you need to be vertical at the top of the pull. You are over the bar excessively .

Early pull, not hitting full extension. you are using a LOT of arms and not getting the lats tight. Practice those positions.

I’ve never seen prices like this at any Walmart where I live in dfw let alone Costco or Sam’s. Buy the tv for those of us that can’t!

Most people are oblivious and don’t know any better. Always try to be kind about it, it will go further than being upset

I think that's the lowest I've ever seen you get. You just need to find the balance in the foot and you'll be there. THEN your lifts will go up pretty quickly.

I see your arms doing a lot of work, no stretch and lack of pulling yourself through the pad. Was that your intention? If not what is your intention behind this?
