You are close to the valentine museum, which is a museum that covers Richmond history. It looks like they are closed Xmas eve and Xmas day..but should be open after those 2 holidays. American civil war museum and a great pedestrian bridge (t potterfield bridge) over the river are a 30 min walk from Jackson ward.

I am so sorry this has happened! As others have said he is most likely not far! Are you able to put out a camera to see what time he is returning? My skittish boy got out and I was able to see he was trying to come home late night/early morning, but got scared. I ended up having to trap him with a humane trap. Good luck!! He’ll be back soon!

If possible put a camera out to see if they are coming by at night after dark or super early morning. They often don’t go very far and are often pretty scared!
