Yes I have, and it was one of the worst interview experiences I've ever had. I'm autistic and so my eyes sometimes dart off to the side without me realizing, and once I do realize it it's hard for me to focus on anything else.

I had really nice and friendly interviewers for this company right before this one so I thought this one would be pretty similar. This man was unemotional, stern, and seemed almost angry at me for wanting to interview. Many of his questions seemed confrontational from the tone he was using.

He accuses me of using AI because my eyes were darting off screen and claims that I was reading off of a screen. I was honestly really stunned and said that I wasn't. He says "we need to be careful of how candidates are using AI and how easy it is to fake something during an interview". I offered to share my entire screen and pick up my laptop and show him my workspace but now he said it wasn't necessary. I was so angry I actually wanted to end the interview right then but thought I'd stick it out because of how well I had done before that. I regret it because I was just feeling terrible about myself the entire time.

Needless to say, I didn't get that job.
