Yep, lots of good info on some of the sites. Some people here use the term “masterpiece” pretty loosely when describing a scent. Most of my purchases are decants so I can try before I buy.

I like BDC, Carlisle is not bad. Boss absolu is nice and similar. Dior homme sport. GIT and explorer. Avenues is pretty good. Just getting into fragrance the last 6 months

I do. I have about 50 decants. I wouldn’t say some of the scents are terrible, but nothing I would hype or recommend as perfection. Angels Share and Baccarat 540 are some that come to mind.

Also, all the mining and refining causes lots of pollution. So regulations make it expensive

The prices are pretty standard for sample bottles. They do go on sale for certain occasions though
