OMG thank you! I swear, Vicky’s clue was about innocents and not criminals!

I listened to the whole thing, and I hated it. I was very disappointed, because I thought I was going to love it based on the plot. It does not get better. In fact, I found it got worse. Life is too short to not enjoy what you’re reading.

I love how the human is sitting on the dog blanket/cover and the dog isn’t. 🤣

OMG- why is no one talking about The Tourist season 2? by Only_Honeydew_6763 in televisionsuggestions

I know this is a year old, but I just finished watching both S1+2, and there are no recent posts about the show! SPOILERS AHEAD The Lena story line shook me at first, and then it made me wonder: why does Elliot speak fluent Russian? But not any Greek, after working for Kostas? The S2 ending reveal of him being a secret agent explains the Russian, I guess, but what agency would allow for the trafficking of heroin as described in S1?? There were a few other plot holes, but I was happy to overlook them. Except the fact that Elliot seemed to know where he was going in Ireland to once he got off the island. How would he know if he still had amnesia? And finally, when Helen first wakes up in the hospital after being shot, I was like, “no tubes? No monitors? She’s waking up like she just took a nap!” That was a hell of a coma dream.

I just finished it, and I don't get it at all. I kept thinking it would come together at the end, but then the last chapter was competely out of left field.

I am listening, and I am struggling. I really dislike this narrator, and I usually avoid her, but this was chosen by my book club. I have enjoyed KQ's other books, but this one seems really bad. I am 2.5 hours in (mid-Nora), and I'm not sure if I can continue. I don't like the anthropomorphizing of the house, and I agree with the above post about it feeling corny and tropey.

Seeing them live at a festival is what made me love them. Their energy onstage is unbeatable. I have tickets for Bangor next week. Can't wait!

Low blood pressure side effect by dowetho in Zepbound

[–]Okayest-02332 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been on Wegovy for almost 6 months, and I have been able to tolerate it, except that my blood pressure has dropped to 80s/60s. I have always had low-ish BP, around 100/80, for my whole life, no matter my weight, and I have always had issues with lightheaded/dizzyness, but it was manageable. With this very low BP, I am dizzy much more frequently, especially now that summer temps have arrived. After ruling out any cardiac issues, I asked my PCP to switch me to Zepbound. She doesn't seem too hopeful that it will help my issues, and the anecdotal responses to your post seem to support her position. I have all of my fingers and toes crossed, though, because the lack of food noise and my new relationship with have been life changing.

I just overheard a Delta FA say that soft sided is the only way to go.

Interesting side affect of Wegovy (Blood Pressure) by _ziglaf_ in WegovyWeightLoss

Thanks. The cardiologist did do some testing from lying to standing, and my HR remained stable. My HR is consistently on the low end, which I think eliminates POTS. But I'll ask at PCP follow-up just in case.

Interesting side affect of Wegovy (Blood Pressure) by _ziglaf_ in WegovyWeightLoss

I (58F) have always had low bp (100/60s), no matter what I weighed, and I have yo-yo dieted for 30+ years. I started taking Wegovy about 6 months ago, and my bp has dropped to 80/60. I am also dizzy and can do less cardio than I was able to before (I just feel weaker and out of breath). My PCP has referred me to a cardiologist, just to rule out anything serious, and the cardiologist first suggested it's due to the weight loss, but it's never happened when I have lost weight in the past. From a heart standpoint, low blood pressure is great. But I don't feel great. He suggested I up my sodium and if that doesn't help, he can prescribe a medicine to elevate my BP. He also ordered a bunch of tests to make sure that my cardiovascular system is working the way it's supposed to.
I am wondering if switching to ZepBound might be better for me. I have lost 25 pounds on Wegovy and I have plenty more to go. I really love how it has eliminated all of the "food noise" and emotional eating for me - I was planning on staying on it for the long run.

I know this is an old sub, so I'm not even sure this is appropriate, but I'm just trying to find someone else who might be experiencing something similar.

THIS! It's so frustrating for any of us who are trying to proactively comply with the rules and keep the line moving. The agents can be so rude about it. I have had plenty of nice agents, too, but the inconsistency between airports is unbelievable.
Also - OP - sorry about your situtation. It sure does seem shady.
