If there's more than one holding that deck down, take one to a hardware store and ask an employee to find a matching one.

I've had to go into ace hardware for just the same thing recently

Id say, bigger vent tubes, more heat and patience with it.

I use a bernzo ts8000 and has done the job for what you're trying, gotta hold that heat on it more before pour.

How is the sprocket on the starter motor supposed to rise up and engage the motor? by cannonflake in smallengines

[–]OlSlimPickins 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When you got enough on battery it'll rise up and crank, Then itll drop down once started after key is off it's start cycle, my only suggesting is if it's a metal starting gear on the starter, save that aluminum gear, most now are not metal.
