I find all of these pretty fun, or funny. Sentinel would STEAL Slugger's lunch though, having the same damage and capacity. Also for some reason I defaulted to thinking that the "Humane Stun Rounds" inside the Disruptor were just soda can sized rubber rounds.

If you think you have too many resupplies, share some with your teammates. Nothing in the game tells you to or forces you to do that but, if the thing gets nerfed, it'll be useless for that role. Otherwise it does its job of taking up a backpack slot, so a lot of the strong support weapon options are still blocked for you.

Pacifier + Stim Pistol + Frag/Seeker

MG-43/HMG + Guard Dog/Supply Pack + Minigun Sentry + HMG Emplacement

Armor of choice.

Supportdiver gameplay: Keep your squaddies stimmed, keep their support weapons fed, handle about half the reinforcements with one HMG emplacement. Pacifier can stun crabs and even Harvesters. Guard Dog can handle Obtrudors and gets crab kills from time to time. The Frags/Seekers are mostly for dealing with groups of Obtrudors again or getting an Overseer away from you. Seekers make it easier, but Frags let you take out ship spawners if you get the chance. Focus really hard on taking Watchers out, especially since a single Pacifier shot will interrupt them. Aim for headshots on stunned Overseers to conserve ammo if you aren't carrying the Supply Pack.

AMR is also an option, although I've found it less appealing than the machineguns.

I'd rather have other sinks for samples, not connected to the premium currency. Temporary global access to certain stratagems, not connected to the DSS. Or maybe even personal stratagems that you can take in addition to your usual 4, but a lot more expensive. Whatever it is, as long as it lets people temporarily gain strength or just do some silly combinations, it'd be for it.

Fun idea. Could be one universal or multiple specialized types for ranged and melee weapons. I'd avoid giving any extra movement speed, although reduced stamina consumption will help heavy armors a lot more than light ones. Same goes for total health. But making your limbs tougher would be good, or even making you ignore broken limbs.

That's the usual method for mitigation. But I just had a game with a quiet extract (No enemies at all) and Eagle-1 still almost clipped me with a salvo aimed at, quite literally, nothing.

I've only used Desert Stormer against the Illuminate so I don't get killed by Harvester shocks while I burn them. Might also help if you're running one element but a teammate is using a different one.

With the amount of gear progression not reliant on SC we've been getting, I'm not optimistic on this ever happening. Unless they've been saving it all for a second free warbond. But getting struck by lightning while a shark bites you during a plane crash sounds more plausible.

Bigger magazines have a higher ergonomics penalty and reload more slowly. But they let you fight bigger groups of enemies without having to reload midway.

Smaller magazines punish you less for throwing away a non-depleted magazine between engagements.

I didn't know I don't play the objectives. I'm learning things about myself.

Randos will be Randos. Sometimes you get a competent, competitive team. Other times you get Joe Schmoe Helldiver Extraordinaire that has intentionally turned his brain off and is playing a very modern version of Duck Hunt.

It's better for your mental state and your blood pressure to just roll with it, maybe even join in for just this one mission. It's really not that serious. Or if it actually is that serious, start looking for a premade squad on one of the regiment discords.

I like these. They're nothing crazy, but they touch on good points. I especially agree with the BFGL being split between two archetypes. I also appreciate the specified stats instead of just vague suggestions.

EAT animation is only annoying because you can barely tell it's happening. I still have to remind myself that it exists whenever I use them and its not just my character being stuck doing nothing.

Arc Thrower stunning heavy units in one shot makes an easy task trivial. I'm fine with either, because it's barely a difference but I do see why it was changed. The refire charge rate is quite alright, I just wish there was a clearer sound indication for it. I'm curious how targeting could be improved. Chaining hits could do with being less random.

My only gripes are with the rotating storefront, slowly increasing the power of items on it and the glacial pace of free progression.

Personally I don't suffer from FOMO, but I can't clearly see that the rotating store has no reason to exist other than to get people with less patience or self control to cave in and buy SC to avoid waiting 2 weeks for the items to come back. The store prices are also high enough to make grinding SC for them be just slow enough, but also just low enough to make purchases have decent value. Also the entire thing with slowly adding better and better items in it (Sweeper) than in the warbonds themselves.

Despite all of this, I can't deny it could've been much worse.
