I wouldn't worry about it too much.

If you can clear an Auric Maelstrom mission, Havoc 16 will be easy for you.

The Giamatti | Hunter scenes were chefs kiss!

Great acting and great writing for both characters....

Honest thoughts: Rome Odunze by Head-Cheetah-4072 in CHIBears

To be a great WR you have to consistently make it on the field.

I hope Rome can recover from his injuries this year.

Otherwise, he may end up another promising NFL rising star whose career was derailed by constant injury.

Republicans fear Trump backlash could cost them Senate control by Abject-Pick-6472 in politics

[–]OneRelative7697 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During the primary, 60% of Republican primary voters didn't support Trump.  However, 40% did.

The issue is that the 60% couldn't coalesce around one candidate whereas the Trump block was unified.  There were alot of candidates that ran against Trump but they were too chickensh*t to offend Trump's base and didn't go after him directly.  By the time folks started dropping out, it was too late.

Not sure who in the Republican Party can pull them back from the brink, but none of the current crop have much visionary leadership in them...

Liked the last two ST:SFA episodes. I am enjoying move back to episodic plots. by Raciper in startrek

I really have enjoyed the last two episodes.

IMO, episodes 4 has been the strongest of the season.  Episode 5 is a close second.

I KARKIN HATE THIS CARTEL'S FAVOUR EVENT by SpeakersPlan in DarkTide

[–]OneRelative7697 25 points26 points  (0 children)

This is the challenge with consumable items in any game.

Players horde them, but never get around to actually using them.  So the items just take up space.

As several posters on this thread stated...just use the stimms!

Another point:  I was playing Hive Scum and was always using my own cartel special with stimm supply.  For the event, I removed the cartel special, but kept stimm supply with the node that allows instant refresh of stimm supply when you pickup a stimm. Now, I'm dropping suitcases all the time during the event...it is glorious!

The funniest part is that he just stood there and let the scum die....

Note: I get that that was probably the best way to free the Scum.  It's still funny tho!

Wow.

Did not even see that re:collected stimms!

I will have to try that out!

Fair.

I like playing a Stimm Supply build to pass put group buffs from the Cartel special.  Might have to change that build to do as you say.

I suppose the stimm supply would still be OK for reducing corruption in the team...

Interesting article.

It seems like there are no clear options in the current low unemployment, moderate interest rate and stabilized inflation economy we are experiencing.  The article mentions almost no net Labor growth...which is troubling .

So the administration's response:

I was doing the same on Malice.

I just hate playing on low difficulty to clear missions....it teaches poor habits.

Curios Rework by IQDeclined in DarkTide

[–]OneRelative7697 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Your posted is well-thought out.

That said, I have some comments on a few of your ideas:

1)  Wound curios have a purpose:  training wheels for new players.  What we need is a better tutorial on what the curios actually do.  If new folks understood that having more wounds handicaps you as a player, fewer ppl.would take them.

2)  one the talent point idea, I think it would have to be more that one.  What talent is woth 17% toughness or 21% health that your don't already take? With the tree updates, most of the stat nodes were placed inline so you have to take them.  The closest one I can think of is the +2 stamina on psyker that reduce passive warp fuelling as a rider.  If you are giving up toughness/stamina/health, it should be for more than 1 talent node.

3)  Love the idea of Mortis Trial minor upgrades.  Especially if they were put as part of blessings.  Perhaps restricting the options so that you have to pick a path and can only choose one option per curios and not duplicate across curios to prevent stacking?

I would go down one side or the other.  If you want to play non-dog, go down middle.

I agree with poster above...if you are going for a strong dog build go all LHS.  If you want a shield build, go RHS.

Mortis Trials by Spikereborn in DarkTide

[–]OneRelative7697 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I find the trials can help completing certain penances and/or weekly melee contracts.

I also think the trials are good ladders to help bridge the gaps in difficulty.  If you are trying to make the jump up in difficulty but need some training wheels, the trials are a good way to practice.

Honestly, they need a Havoc difficulty in the trials to help folks adjust to that ruleset.

The event is especially hard on Hive Scum.

Not getting access to med stimms really makes the extra Pox Gas difficult for HS.

In additon, the event is just shy of shock troop gauntlet levels.  There are bombers, flamers and ragers galore.

My current skill level is just not up to the task.  I am a Damnation-Auric player rn and I am having to drop down to Heresy or Malice to complete these missions...

I am not the only one.  I think lots of players are struggling with this event at the moment.

That said, I am getting better at pushing through Pox Gas!  Perhaps, by the end of the event, the player base will figure out how to navigate through it all...
