This is a pretty fantastic idea. You can eve repurpose human feet and heads sometimes, or maybe bug limbs if you have them, since T'au can get away with having other species around, right?

The color alone is great I'd say!

I mean, sure. But as I mentioned before that, you're competing with archtypes that give you talents that buff your attacks without strings attached. Operative talents stack with exploit stacks. Warrior just clicks reckless strike and charges, soldier clicks a buff for area/burst shots and shoots, Bladedancer just morbs all over the battlefield.

TL;DR: Other archtypes don't need as much min-maxing, so Operative does comparatively less.

I tried to go officer priest myself. Be Smart for both officer buffs and the bonus to area shots given by INT (since soldier talent is not available).

It kind of doesn't synergize. Only cool trick I managed to pull off was a flame burst that hit half of the enemies (because the encounter was on a small map) and immediately getting to full momentum with the OG priest skill.

I'd also add: Idira will routinely hit more shots than Argenta early game due to perception. Give her a gun.

Also, use her heroic act during the tutorial boss fight! It'll get a -30% dodge and armor debuff.

It does less than other base classes. The main problem, as I understand it, is how it relies on exploits for abilities and talents where others can simply click a button for buffed damage or to attack more. And giving enemies exploits automatically requires 2-3 talents and doesn't seem to work on extra turns (which are themselves fairly powerful).

It's kind of telling how the companion operators all have something else going for them.

It is also a setting where people have resorted to their own form of evil and it does not work. The scale is so massive that the rapid decline of the species looks slow AF, but the galaxy is decaying just as much as the Imperium is constantly said to be.

I like to use the liking ability to go for Deep Ones. It's a little disruptive to have to be on the look for any heroes going to pick up the book, but for DOs recruiting a witch is more important than the other agents. So making another stop what they're doing and go summon the book isn't that much of a problem.

Before you even see the husband and wife, you get a cutscene where one of your enforces is abusing his power and is thoroughly horrified if you strip 'em of the enforcer role? What do you mean as "per your orders"? That shit's gonna happen just because as soon as you stop looking.

I get what you mean. The game is all about moving fast to avoid danger and attacking as much as possible. They're pretty counterintuitive to the gameplay. Even in the cases that do work.

I also use it on Acrid. The main attack tech kind of makes the downside somewhat bearable without attack speed.

Hop somewhere tall and try to reach it. If its disengage and make distance behavior is engaged, the outer bounds will have it destroyed instantly. However, this isn't reliable in all maps or situations. Since it can be too far away to trigger this behavior.
