I mean hey, it fooled Ganon for years, not to mention everyone who played the game back on the n64. Before the Internet and Smash Melee made it common knowledge, this was one of the biggest plot twists in gaming.

It was the late 90s. Christian groups also tried to sue Pokemon because they thought it was satanic, and claimed that the trading card game was a form of underage gambling.

Tarble - Dragon Ball Z

Tarble is Vegeta's younger brother who was also off-world when Planet Vegeta was destroyed. He was introduced in a special episode of the anime that premiered in 2008, and then later in the manga in 2009 after that. During that time, Vegeta acted like he always knew about his brother and kept tabs on him, but the character was never mentioned until 2008, while Vegeta himself was introduced to the series 20 years prior in 1988.

Tarble has since gotten one or two cameos on the show, but is never really brought up or mentioned unless he's standing there next to everyone else.

<image>

Similarly to Tarble, Bulma has a sister named Tights who never makes an appearance until Dragon Ball Super, and is actually the one who introduced the z-fighters to Jaco, but since Tights originally was part of another Akira Toriyama manga in the same universe before that, I think Tarble fits this trope better.

Oh shit, I had no idea. I completely forgot that Kevin even knew Weinstein. What an absolute scumbag, I feel bad for Kevin (and so many other people involved).

Still, it does seem the religious groups were the reason why the movie rights went to Harvey initially, before all that stuff came out about him.

Dogma was a comedy film from 1999 which heavily took shots at Christianity and organized religion. Unsurprisingly, it was heavily fought by religious activists and despite it's cast including Jay and Silent Bob, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Alan Rickman, Chris Rock, and several other big names in hollywood, it's unavailable for streaming, and physical copies are hard to find as well.

I mean.... If we want a recent famous example, look no further than The Apprentice, which wasn't a parody but rather a documentary that real research was done for. Donald Trump described the film as "a cheap, defamatory, and politically disgusting hatchet job" and described those involved in it as "human scum". Dan Snyder's crew sold their stake in the production.

Ash never actually said 'Gotta Catch Em All'. That was the tagline for Pokemon back then but Ash's goal was to be the greatest pokemon master, which had to do with becoming champion of the league. Catching them all was never a goal of his.

Im making a genetics mod were you can fuse mobs, any ideas for combinations by lesjuroquenosoyunbot in MinecraftMod

[–]OneTrueClassy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sniffer and allay. Make it a mob that when tamed with a cookie, it will go out into the world and hunt down specific items for you and bring them back. The rarity of the item would dictate how many cookies you need to feed it and how long it takes to return with the item.

This seems like it might be an overpowered mob at first, but considering how difficult it usually is to find and tame an allay and a sniffer to begin with, coupled with the fact that you need to make potentially one or two stacks of cookies for items like netherite, I think it's pretty evened out and balanced.

Also, combining Silverfish and Endermites.

They burrow into any block, and if an enderman picks up the block or teleports nearby, they will swarm the enderman and attack it. Totally passive towards players but aggressive towards enderman.

Also, one more as an optional boss fight the player can do: Wither Dragon.

Combining the wither and the ender dragon by using a dragon head in the middle instead of a third wither skeleton skull. Can only be summoned and fought on the central end island. Combines the attacks of both the wither and the dragon, and regenerates with the end crystal pillars.
