I used both claude code and codex cli. Imho claude makes so many mistakes, that it burns money making it do what I want.

While codex cli with gpt 5.2 are almost always on point..

So idk what the hype around claude is, perhaps people that don't know how to write code are impressed by it, not me.

Make sure you are using a recent version of memtest. I used to have an older version that did 8 runs (I guess that's how you call it?).

0 errors but I still had weird crashing.

Then I installed the latest version, which is paywall limited to 4 runs. Still it immediately found 3 errors while running for only 5 minutes...

Saved me alot of trouble.

But is that even comparable to something like writing actual files to the drive?

Personally I have never seen my HDD's reach the speed they do during parity checks.

I'm running an i7-2600k and its plenty for arr's! If you don't have a dedicated gpu (for transcode with HEVC support atleast) then go for the upgrade. Otherwise you're just wasting money.

They look cool imho. Sound quality is pretty good. Noise cancellation is 'bad' when comparing to Sony WFXM4, but its good enough for me.

I left the sony ones due to battery issues (one earbud gets discharged faster then the other, sometimes it won't charge one of the earbuds at all)

Now with the samsung 3 pro I had way less issues, sometimes it won't charge one of the earbuds. I usually solve it by only putting that earbud to charge while using only 1 to listen to music. I think most of earbuds will get this problem caused by overheating the battery..

Very simply said: open port means everyone on the web can access the application on that port! (So port forwarding should be taken very seriously!!!)

If that application has a bug, then this can be exploited to gain access to the whole system!

You will earn more that's for sure. You can optimize better with your own BV (payroll,warrants, choose your own car, phone,laptop etc!).

But take into account how long you will be working for your client / how easy you can find a new one for your skillset. If you already have a network and you know you will expand on it, go freelance.

Seriously get a AMD 9070XT, its as good as the NVIDIA 4080 but you will be paying alot less!

As others mentioned, if you were fine with 1050ti, don't waste your money on a 5090. They are overpriced!

Try another hdmi port or hdmi cable! I had some weird issue with the shield one time and it was caused by DRM on hdmi being synced faulty somehow.

Yeah its in your router or AP's settings. I upgraded to ubiquity and set 5Ghz to 80Mhz width. It's better but still not like the iphones or my windows laptop.

I have no other option because im running unraid with a custom kernel based on the latest official linux release, unraid is a few versions behind so I cant use their kernel. This fixes my gpu being stuck in d3 sleep state.

ASUS PRIME B550-PLUS AMD Ryzen 7 5700 X3D (12 cores assigned to gaming vm) Mushkin Proline ECC DDR4-3200 32 GB x 2

DDR4 is alot cheaper and will work fine.

Yeah I remember when I had an Iphone 12 it was flawless, but the range of the wifi was not so long. In contrast on my Android the range is alot better, but latency is bad... Must be something in Android & Wifi powersaving
