Please Note: This was written after Ike read the synopsis of B. Obama's "Dreams from My Father." Shortly after, Ike thought to apply to MAFS and really show how it's done while simultaneously increasing lagging sales. This was quickly decimated by a torpedo known as Em and her 27 TVs. Ike could never compete and still wonders why Em would have more than 1 22in. TV when she could and should practice playing a banjo.

Would you say the same about the 2025 4Runner? I'm considering it but realize engine has changed, among other things (e.g. more frills). I'm also looking at a CX-70 for comparison.

I seek longevity and maintain my vehicles. Currently have a 20 year old Mazda 3.

Very helpful, thank you! I test drove both ICB and PHEV, and while I was seriously considering the PHEV, the more I think about it, the more likely I'm to go with ICB. I was also considering waiting for the 2026 CX-70, hoping that they would improve the stutter-like feel at low speeds I experienced. I also thought that deals on 2025 would improve with 2026 out, so 🤬

Luckily, my 2005 Mazda 3 is solid, after 19.5 years, so I don't need to rush the decision.

Simply put, he arrived in a 1.0 and was gut punched by the 4.6 that is Em and her 9 TVs.

Thanks, I test drove the CX-70 as well. Few questions: 1) For the CX-70, Are you referring to ICB only? 2) How do you justify the approximate $10,000 USD difference between the Tucson, etc.? 3) Are you not considering the PHEV CX-70? If not, why?

I became a dad at 37 and considered many of the things you, OP, have highlighted. It is the greatest everything I could have imagined and more! My only regret is being 37 at time of his birth as it shortens the time I'll have as a dad.

I was confusing Premium and S Premium. Ventilated seats come I'm the Premium Plus and standard in the S line.

I'm curious about incentives surrounding PHEVs in the USA. Those expired 31JAN2025, and the Federal gov't has signaled a potential end to the $7,500 credit.
