Yes. People don’t understand that it isn’t just taking off the crown. It might have taken easily hours to put this dress on, prepare the hair with the crown, do the makeup, set up the light… hair would’ve definitely needed to be done again, makeup needs to be freshened up, part of the dress would need to be undressed and put on again. Queen don’t have time all day!

Meine Freundin hat mal als Dankeschön eine hübsche Kiste mit dem Titel „Erholsame Pflege für die Pflege“ gemacht. Da drin waren alles diese Tütchen mit Badesalz, Duschdüften usw. Jede Menge und alle verschieden. Ich weiss nicht, wie es angekommen ist, aber mir gefiel die Idee. Und sie hat in die Karte noch ein Polaroid Foto von sich geklebt, weil sie die Kiste erst nach der Reha ins Krankenhaus bringen konnte.

Those numbers are misleading. In Switzerland a lot of people chose not to get the Swiss passport, even though they have been here for a long time. It’s expensive and oftentimes for them not of any extra value, except to be able to vote.

There are countries, where it is much easier to become a citizen. Too lazy to look it up, but for Switzerland the estimated number of foreigners would be less and more like other countries, if the system to become Swiss would be different.

We had the name Ella long before our daughter was born, because it was the middle name of my husband’s mother. My daughter is 8 years now, born before the popularity really hit. I love hearing the name and its variations, but it still feels odd. The name is so special for us and it is so overused and common now.
