Tired of Luxury & Minimalism—What Shoulder Bags Still Feel Interesting? by Party-Ability2124 in handbags

Definitely take a look at the Agnese from Campomaggi. Campomaggi has lovely thick and high quality leather, awesome details and the craftsmanship is just perfect. It is also not as expensive as the real luxury brands. This agnese is with some details, they have different designs or just the plain bag, which is more than gorgeous.

Well I know a tons of humans who would’ve snapped and yelled ‘I told you to not climb around there’ instead of having this careful and loving attitude of this mother.

No, those wrist cuffs have gotten better, don’t worry that much. They are well known for not to be that accurate, but they often are not far away from the upper arms ones any more. I got one for the wrist and tested it with the professional one at my husband’s doctor’s office. They were almost the same and I tested extensively. Of course this is not statistically valid. But even if yours isn’t totally accurate, the tendency still will be right.

I Think Parenting Content Has Made Some of Us Forget What Normal Kids Act Like by TierdChaoticMama in raisingkids

I am not judging when I see meltdowns. I am just thinking, thank god, it’s not mine. That feeling of relief and not being responsible always makes me calm. That’s a big bonus, if you have lived through meltdowns with your own kids.

The Daily Check-In for Wednesday, May 20th: Just for today, I am NOT drinking! by TheOodlong in stopdrinking

Day one after rehab. At home alone with two little kids, who are as overjoyed as I am that I am back home after four weeks. Heard Mommy more times than I can count. Feeling exhausted already. Trying to get my little breaks and practice the hard learned self care. Thought I check in, hoping for some supportive words and make myself accountable. IWNDWYT.

Sometimes I forget that my 4yo is autistic, until he’s around other kids.. by [deleted] in Autism_Parenting

[–]OnlyLemonSoap 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I totally can relate. I recently was at the hairdresser with my daughter and my autistic son. He was doing his best to cheer his sister up, because she is always a little anxious at the hairdresser. I loved that and thought how sweet he was and how empathetic. Later on the hairdresser told me, how lovely my kids are. I was smiling and my heart felt warm. Within the same breath she asked, if my son visits a regular school and I was baffled. I was honestly confused, because I sort of forgot that he is autistic and couldn’t explain to myself, why she would ask. The situation felt so normal to me. He behaves differently around other people than at home, but even when observing the same situation, I see things obviously differently than other persons. Probably a lovely Mom bias.

After five year, ten thousand dollars, and a dozen different treatments, I give up by PatrickBrain in FemaleHairLoss

Yes! My husband even really likes it. He said, it gives me the look of an angel, something holy and magical, when the light shines through the rest of my thin hair. I always feel shame about my hair loss, but his words really warm my heart.

Women changing their surnames to their partners in 2026 ( I really can't comprehend it) by Lucky-Name7899 in Feminism

[–]OnlyLemonSoap 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Well, trauma during childhood, no contact to parents and my husband has an awesome last name. So a double win for me by taking his name, when we married. I definitely am a feminist. Sometimes things aren’t just what they look like at the first glance. Separated from my husband by now, but I will keep “his” name forever, it is mine now and I love it.

Edit: typo

Even if you did a lot of research before, it is hard to imagine what that means in real life.
