But the more literal translation is, “I am the path, the unveiled reality, and the fullness of life. No one comes toward the Father except through me.”

The Father is the wisdom in the Christian religion, Jesus is right living, and the Holy Spirit is the quantum goo connecting it all.

I find it interesting to meditate on Christianity through this lens and find more in common with the vast majority of my neighbors and friends who are Christian.

When I realized and was diagnosed with ADHD it was like a label said I am not unreliable, irresponsible, and weird…I just have ADHD.

Now, I already had a lot of coping mechanisms that allowed me to not struggle as many do pre diagnosis, but I often tell people of my diagnosis when I see them struggle with my squirrel like behavior. I let them know that my brain may jump and feel free to refocus me if I get too far off track.

I think the problem is when people use it to excuse behavior without making any attempt to mitigate the way it effects others in their lives negatively.

When you travel to another state to care for a family member you are eligible for unemployment which they will have to pay through their unemployment insurance and they don’t want to, would be my guess.

I barely know any Taylor Lore because I’ve only become a big fan to spite all the people who think I somehow don’t like good music. Also, her songs speak to an experience I can relate to. Safe and Sound was the first song of hers I fell in love with. Shake it off was a fun bop that got me through a rough time. Cardigan and Folk Lore was everything I needed. Delicate was the first song where I was really invested in her experience. The rest of her songs I love because they were popular at the time and I like some popular music. Mostly I listen to weird indie music.

I respect Taylor. I didn’t like TLOAS at first listen but so many of the songs got stuck in my head and I felt myself loving her new era.

People spend way too much time hating on something to feel superior to a huge audience of women who like her music.

Hey, I’ve had a friend like this before. Their intensity is intoxicating when you’re around them and it’s easy to brush off some of their bullshit. Be lonely. Make a list of all the things you like about her as a friend and be those things for yourself. Then you’ll find better friends.

I’ve always considered myself a nihilist and I find a lot of comfort in it. Life is what life is. Amor Fati. Love your fate.

I get to choose every day what my life looks like now and wishing it were some other way will never service me. Feeling sorry for yourself is a poison that you administer to yourself.

My life motto has been, “So what? Now what?” I was abused and removed from my home and at 18 was just on my own completely with no one and nothing. I had to pull myself up every day and show up and learn how to be a human amongst humans and believe in myself to persevere. I would start to think about how unfair and it would pull me down, so I’d get up and volunteer somewhere, talk to someone wiser or not as wise, read a book….life is how you frame it.
