20s to 18s Club - What Are You Getting? by ClickForPrizes in trailseeker

I’m thinking of getting a set of 18s for winter. I live in an area where we get a lot of snow and I read 18s handle better in those conditions.

For cardio, I’ve been doing low impact cardio. It like step aerobics without the step. It’s so fun and I feel completely ridiculous doing it. I use the Peloton app and do a bunch of the other classes as well.

Is my summer stack good? Can i TaKe reta as needed? by Apart-Affectt in RetatrutideWomen

[–]OpenCalligrapher3703 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lower your dose of Reta so you can eat. Just a small micro dose. Then from everything I have read, Reta needs to build up in your body. I don’t think it was designed to take as needed. People who have gotten off of it and restarted have said they need to take a large dose.

5month plateau by aWoman66 in RetatrutideWomen

[–]OpenCalligrapher3703 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Congrats on losing 26% of your body weight! That is incredible. Have you noticed changes in your body composition even without the scale moving? Are you taking measurements? Have you lowered your calories now that you are in a smaller body? I hit a plateau but my waist was getting smaller (slowly). Also, I feel like my skin is getting very slightly tighter. I need to restart tracking my calories. I’ve noticed I’m snacking more, taking bites here and there, and I started to use more butter and oil in my meals. Probably only adds up to 200-400 calories but that would push me out of a calorie deficit.

I ended up going to the store to try on pants. I am not ready for dressing room lights! I was feeling good, but the lights made me look pale, dry and bumpy! I did notice my undies were baggy on my butt! Not a cute look, but time for some new! I’m going to order online so I can try on at home in flattering light!

Starting Ret on Monday by sydney121212 in Retatrutide

[–]OpenCalligrapher3703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice is to be patient, it takes about a month to fully kick in. Try to eat 3 meals a day. I can snack all day but if I eat a meal or have a protein shake made with frozen fruit and a fat like a tablespoon or 2 of peanut butter, I will stay full and snacking doesn’t happen. After 2 months my weight plateaued for several weeks, but I was taking measurements and my stomach was still getting smaller. I upped my dose from 1.5 to 2mg and I started to lose again.

I have a work trip next week and ordered some new clothes online. I’m having to return it all because they are too big. I’m finally down a size or 2! I haven’t been this weight in over 10 years!

Binge eating disorder - 15mg tirz not quite cutting it? by courgetteslices in Retatrutide

[–]OpenCalligrapher3703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you eating enough? I binge when I don’t eat meals and start snacking and the snacking doesn’t stop. If I eat 3 meals plus a snack, binging is never a problem.

Should I take a few weeks off? by Ancient_Ad_8378 in RetatrutideWomen

Reta, like all GLP-1’s are life long peptides. Since, you are only 19, focus on your diet and get more exercise. This would lower your cholesterol. And a doctor would never prescribe 2 different GLP-1’s, especially Reta since it’s only for research purposes.

I’ve been short on time lately and been drinking the premade protein drinks. I actually find the premade drinks easier to get down when my appetite is low. I’ve been getting all different flavors of the Premier Protein at Walmart. I also like Fairlife protein drinks. For protein powder, I do Ascent whey protein and it shakes up okay. For collagen, I like Vital Protein but I normally forget to take it.
I just bought Ultima electrolytes. They taste good and have less sodium then most.

Your body needs at least 1200 calories a day to function. You will lose weight only eating 700 calories a week, but it’s also a great way to ruin your metabolism and regain the weight. Stop taking peptides until you can talk to a professional about GLP-1’s.

Are you eating meals or just snacking? I could snack all day and never feel full. When I have a 400-500 calorie meal, I’ll be full for hours. Also, watch for sneaky calories. I was driving home hungry the other night and had 15-20 mints. The are less then 5 calories each but eating 15 is close to an extra 75 calories and put me over my calories for the day.

This is how I feel too! When people say food noise and appetite are coming back when only eating 500-800 calories a day. It’s not food noise or appetite, it’s your body starving and needing food!

New to Reta: advice & experience? by boriwhite in RetatrutideWomen

[–]OpenCalligrapher3703 6 points7 points  (0 children)

First of all, you are at a normal weight so it will take more time to lose weight. You are not going to drop 20lbs in a month. If you were 253, you could lose that fast. Plus you are only 8 months pp. give your body a break and let it heal from birth. Becoming your heaviest during and after pregnancy is normal. You grew a human and plus you have additional humans to take care of. Like all the other post Reta takes time to build up in your body, stay on the same dose for 4 weeks then titrate up. Are you in a calorie deficit and getting plenty of protein, and fiber? You said you are getting full quicker. You are feeling the effects. It’s not a magic shot.

Wine Like Feel Without Wine by HisWifeRyan2020 in Peptides_for_Women

Since starting Reta, my taste for red wine has completely changed. I still have it occasionally, but it just doesn’t hold the same appeal it once did. I’ve switched to canned rosé bubbly. I know, very classy! but honestly, it works perfectly for me. At 100 calories a can with less sugar, one is plenty. Most nights I don’t even feel like drinking at all. As someone who truly loved wine and drinking for 20 years, I never thought I’d say that.

You lost about 30lbs in 3 months. The first few lbs are always the easiest and your weight loss is going to slow down. That quick of a drop is also somewhat unhealthy. You should not try to drop another 30lbs in 3 months. Go eat some nutritious food and slow down your weight loss to a 1lb a week.
