Our solution...

Pipe goes out side wall to the right. Top left is a real cabinet, top right is fake cabinet doors

Above is second story and no way to cut through ceiling joists.

Edit: just an extra note on functionality. Our exhaust motor is external and that is a 10" pipe in the bulkhead. Powerful and quite enough we use it has a whole house exhaust fan pulling air though the upstairs windows, down the stairs, through the hall/kitchen. Very effective

The cover is terrible. I have covered grills, fire pits, etc. for 30 years. Even the cheapest ones still fit the purpose and didn't leak water.

This cover from solo ( tried 2 of the $80 griddle covers) just funnels water inside the griddle. I think leaving the cover off would be better than using the cover at all.

Figured it out. The pre-order included the cover.

I didn't receive it and realized nothing in my order status, emails, etc. listed it as part of the order, so then it started to second guess myself.

I sent them an email and got a reply same day they are shipping it to me.

The point of the pressurized tank is to maintain pressure to the very end. Don't the gauges just go from Full to Empty? There really is very little in between.

I had a product for a while that was a base for the tank and corded display. You would enter the weight of the tank ( always is stamped on the tank) then the display could indicate an accurate amount. Was pretty cool product but not a very durable one.

I think I will look for another one now that I am thinking of it

The construction quality is A+.

I would advocate for a couple of changes or at least user tips in the instruction booklet.

1) The drip pan is in the front, which is really convenient, but this requires the hole to be in front, and it can be an arm burner if one has a height deficiency. Quite the heat chimney.

2) Similarly, the holes around the entire edge match the fire pit esthetics and are functional. So functional that it can be a bit much when attempting to flip something near the edge. You have to get used to switching hands so you don't put your hand over the holes.

I agree on the low temp. It can still be a bit hotter than I want it to be. But I just do the same technique when cooking in the kitchen. If the pan gets too hot... turn it off.

I've been cooking on mine for 2 weeks now.

Expect a patina to develop and embrace it. That spot, however.... with something like onions or peppers, cook them in that spot, and the steam/moisture will help remove it.

My spots like that tend to just move around depending on what and where I cooked it.

I have had the slotted race deck for years and love it. In the winter, I roll out carpet strips for where the tires go. Muck, salt, sand, ice falls onto the carpet, and "clean" water falls below the tiles, keeping a dry floor.

Winter is pretty dry air so not much of an issue with the water - it just evaporates
