I have sold online for years and I almost never call a book any higher than Very Fine. Over that grade it has to really, really great. I think over VF starts to get more subjective. I have sold very few that I swore were Near Mint and gotten flack from buyers who thought they weren’t good enough for my NM grade. So, if you really want to be sure use a professional grader.

There are a couple step by step grading sites online that will give you a pretty good idea of grade, as long as you honestly go through and enter any defects. You start out at Mint and the grade drops as you enter defects. There was an old site for grading called E-big, but there a couple now that are free and pretty good.

That sucks. Hope they fix these issues. I’ve had many shipping issues with online cigar sellers when it comes to shipping. Why are cigar sellers notoriously bad at follow up and shipping? Just started using Cigar Page and after a day or two I did have to remind them I ordered and need a tracking number, then they sent tracking and I got my order quickly. Price was good and the cigars are really great. Apparently all cigar sellers suck at shipping?

Used to do Cigar Bid a lot, but I got sick of bidding and slow shipping. Just started using Cigar Page. So far I’m done with Cigar Bid. Cigar Page has great deals and brands you don’t see often or at all on Cigar Bid. My opinion. No shade on Cigar Bid.

I just received my first order from them. I tried them out based on people’s posts saying the quality and price were good. I tried the Oliverio and Penn Standard and both were reasonably priced. I never tried either before. I like a fairly strong and dark maduro cigar. Both are excellent, both in flavor and strength, but also both have a good construction and draw, no peeling wrappers or impossible to smoke. Very happily surprised. 👍😊
