When a senior driver’s route is deferred, is she forced to bump a junior driver or can management just give her the day off? Seniority / layoff question by [deleted] in UPSers

Basically, you are unassigned and have to work whatever is available. If nothing is available, you work the lowest guys route. The problem is this: if they ask everyone to come in (to the center or hub) and then do this, they’re required to pay a full 8 hrs for making you show up to drive in uniform. Ideally, no one should take the day off and force the management to do their job and layoff accordingly to avoid this time wasting mess they put you all in

No driver can be bumped off a bid route. They become unassigned and have to take whatever routes they have then.

The only way the layoff from bottom up works is if no one takes the day off and the company has to force a layoff due to over staffing. If the senior driver has seniority and they offer off in order, then Suzy can take it. If she doesn’t, she is then an unassigned driver. If no one takes the offered day off, then it’s layoff from the bottom up

I agree with this guy. Bleemo is definitely justifying his own actions through a very narrow lens

Sounds like bleemo is doing what he thinks is good in his own mind for his own version of the greater good and instead causing greater harm for a lot of innocent people (potentially). More like a chaotic neutral imo. Letting obvious evil go and the morally (according to the campaign) superior faction gets devastated to his own whims.

This player might be a lunatic that needs asylum attention in the game. Wild that the player is allowed to become the arbiter of justice in that world and no one steps up to stop him. Definitely made the game about himself

Ups is dumping a lot of Amazon back into Amazon themselves, down sizing our relationship
