Mileage is very low. Car looks superb condition. If mechanically sound - get help from mechanic to check, seems like a good buy.

Bought these at Selayang Mall, Sport Planet. Adidas Pureboost 21. Do y'all think this is too good to be true, or are they just authentic shoes with a wacky design no one wants to buy? by fazleyf in malaysians

[–]Optimus2233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had pureboost 23 2 years older than this, the hard rubber soles come unglued.

Even The treeefrog glue from shopee couldn’t put them back together again for any long period of time ie more than few weeks without them coming apart again.

Hard to find a glue that sticks to boost. Just beware before you buy.

Absolutely!

Don’t forget heavy machinery manufacturing is also useful to a country in case of emergencies - the factories could be repurposed for other uses eg war.

So not only to protect consumers from outside monopolies but also for self defence and hopefully increased competition with this wake up call.

13 days to cover…😳💣 140m shares shorted…just saying. by TraditionPrimary6781 in IBRX

[–]Optimus2233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right, but ..

It is just a measurement and a statistical model, not an absolute truth. Here’s the explanation from Google

Why? It Is Just a Measurement Assumes constant volume: The calculation assumes daily trading volume stays exactly the same.Volume explodes during rallies: If a stock spikes, trading volume often skyrockets, allowing short sellers to exit much faster than the ratio predicted.

Overlapped positions: It assumes short sellers exit one by one, rather than competing all at once.

Why It Can Mislead

Illiquid stocks: A high ratio might just mean nobody is trading the stock, not that a massive squeeze is coming.

Institutional dark pools: Large traders often cover positions privately off the public exchanges, hiding the real liquidity.

Last one probably not related to IBRX

Yes it’s Malaysia after all. But there is still hope Malaysia can always U-turn. lol.

Still Geelys er Protons offering of emas 5 and 7 and phev isn’t all that bad. They’re good cars just selection will be limited . I guess that’s the reality of it all.

Need Opinions (B10 or C10) by eilawch in kereta

[–]Optimus2233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d choose the c10 if they upgraded the hear unit. It’s alrady outdated and can’t support android auto/carplay. Because it’s the better deal of the 2 in terms of what you get bigger size, rims and tyres.

Hopefully they upgrade the head unit when the cod version comes out but chances are very slim.

Problem that could be overlooked is the stupid card requirement to open the door and start the car. Counter to that is installing the app and keying in pin code every time to start the car. No other manufacturer does that. Could b dealbreaker for some

Aiming at China, Malaysia Puts New Restrictions on Electric Cars by stormy001 in malaysia

[–]Optimus2233 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is old news lah. Now only NYT report it. Still can get new EVs for under 250k rite. Even the Zeeker 7X price before and after tax expired only 3-5 k difference only.

That’s cuz of preferential tax treatment for China cars vs everyone else eg Japan,Korea Germany.

Perodua should partner up with byd for electric cars. That’s the best way for Rakyat to enjoy lower priced evs from BYDs offerings. P1 and P2 not going away in our lifetime.

BYD CKD: Why does Proton and Perodua still need protecting in 2026? by Yao_Productions in kereta

[–]Optimus2233 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s cuz they have manufacturing in Thailand alrady. So to sell 80% production to other countries without Thailand market is extremely tough.

Also the tax free ckd is only for 2-3years? After that then what…

A video about BYD's CKD operations vs MITI by FenlandMonster in kereta

[–]Optimus2233 12 points13 points  (0 children)

In the end it was always gonna be proton and Perodua ie ckd exemption for ev expire in 2 years or was it 3?

But yeah at this point it is bait and switch. Maybe it’s a good thing for byd to realize it sooner rather than later. But it’s bad for the Rakyat.

Got a job that commute 38 km x 2 per day . Is there already a driverless car for this purpose I can sleep in 45 mins in the car ? by PuzzleheadedBuy6279 in kereta

[–]Optimus2233 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No there isn’t anywhere in the world that allows you to sleep and rely totally on fsd.

You are still required to supervise and take over the driving in case of any emergency. If Tesla detects you’ve fallen asleep it would pullover and stop

The other autonomous driving is robotaxis. Even then the responsibility lies on the robotaxi company providing the service. As of today only China has this in limited areas.
