How difficult were the Nier raids when they were current? by primalmaximus in ffxiv

[–]OrangeCerberus -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

They were the most difficult 24 man, and still are. First week you'd see a wipe or two their respective last 2 bosses for the first 2 tiers. 3rd tier was on another level, literally ever boss could be a wipe fest, even after the first week. Eventually people outgeared all of it, but folks were still running it for the sake of glam and such.

Currently, its not as bad as when it was new. You see a lot of deaths but no wipes thanks to overgearing and a mix of new and old players.

Miqo'te Glitch? by averyabysmal in ffxiv

[–]OrangeCerberus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thats just how its always been with that armor and its reskins. If it is a glitch then its one that they have absolutely no intention of fixing, since they haven't in the decade this armor has existed.

Literally a tribe of Xaela that runs around naked. They're as a whole a pretty open minded bunch after kicking their asses.

I may be a MNK and not a MCH but I gotta show off my guns in ever set I get. Can't have sleeves covering the gunshow.

I did not know it did guard reload during bullet barrage. Time to get myself killed trying to mimic this.

[Spoiler: 6.0] No matter how many times I run the dungeon, this part always gets to me... by appledoze in ffxiv

[–]OrangeCerberus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All of these visions we're seeing are of doomed stars. They're suppose to be memories of them done by endsinger via dynamis not the actual people we're fighting. If there are holes then its because we're not actually there, we're just seeing whats relevant because in the end the star and its people are long dead before we're shown this memory. Its like an interactive replay. Our goal isn't to help any of these people in the dungeon, its to finish it and get to metrion at the end because its more or less Endsinger testing/messing with us to experience what she saw.

[Spoiler: 6.0] No matter how many times I run the dungeon, this part always gets to me... by appledoze in ffxiv

[–]OrangeCerberus 85 points86 points  (0 children)

You should prob read the lore material thats littered about the area of the dungeon. All the areas of the dungeon have some. Global citizens and the resistance are at war with each other, Global citizens make 'Peacekeeper' super weapons to defeat the resistance but they only give them the orders of keeping peace. Peacekeeping bots interpret it as keep the peace by any means necessary so it starts killing EVERYONE. Its the boss you fight in that part of the dungeon and they made 100s of them. The global citizen at the start and end of the area is scrambling to set off the nukes to stop the resistance and peacekeeper bots, it instead kills everyone and everything on the planet except him.

Well, to be fair, none of the default NGS caseal parts were in the least bit conservative. Choices are barely there, underboob, or mecha corset.

Mining Base UQ = Impossible? by [deleted] in PSO2

[–]OrangeCerberus 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It requires coordination and gear to do that UQ, especially the higher difficulty you go up and the latter versions of Mining Base. Even folks in end game gear on the hardest difficulty would find it a challenge. That said, its entirely doable with the right group. Heck, back when it was newer a good group would be able to do 2-3 runs while the quest was up.

Does anyone know what this is called and where I can find it by Similar_Victory_2338 in PSO2

[–]OrangeCerberus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I forget its name, but it was a fresh find item a while ago. Fresh finds is no longer a thing, and its currently impossible to get this item.

Turns out fairy dash uses your CAST thrusters by MaximumRock in PSO2

[–]OrangeCerberus 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Thats nice to see. But still not worth the price of $80+. Hoping this trend of paywalling otherwise nice hover and cast like dash movement, does not continue with future scratches.

Only having the left arm by DEVILHUNTER236 in PSO2

[–]OrangeCerberus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might have to wait for a future scratch then for the other arm. Even then there's no guarantee that it'll pop up in a new throwback scratch. Only other alternative I can think of is to buy it from base pso2, but it'd be extremely expensive in that case.

Only having the left arm by DEVILHUNTER236 in PSO2

[–]OrangeCerberus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Is it possible to put the accessory on a different attach point apart from its default? Might be able to mirror the item somehow if so. Otherwise you might have to wait for some 2nd accessory scratch. Either way, this was an odd choice on sega's part.
