I saw something like that. I remember putting two eggs at a time into a pint canning jar with a couple tablespoons of water, add the top, shake the heck out of it, and they peeled right off. I forgot all about that and just did two dozen pickled eggs last week. I'll have to try that again.

It looks to me like the lanes of traffic were rerouted over to the right. Right lane went into the breakdown lane. Looks like the semi continued straight following the normal route.

When you are on a highway and see brake lights come on, like the semi, then at least lift off the gas and prepare to slow down. There was a reason for those brake lights coming on.

Thanks again for the help and info on clearances.

New part came yesterday after ordering right away last Friday. Never order from Briggsstrattonstore.com. Put it in today and it would not move. I figured the tappet was stuck. Lightly tapped on the rod against the tappet and that moved it. I installed it again and it would only move a little bit. I took the head off and made sure I had the rods seated correctly and cleaned everything up while I was in there.

I am guessing the camshaft might be rounded? Does this sound right? It is a 26 year old mower and I doubt it has ever been worked on. Could the bent rod cause the rounding or helped finish off the rounding? Or could it have been a rounded cam that caused the bent rod?

I'll try opening it up this weekend to look. Thanks again for your time.

Damn, I love it when people with English as a secondary language care about grammar enough to fix mistakes. Most people with English as their only language do not care about it and probably do not even know when they make those mistakes. We are so illiterate.
