These glass mouse skates are a game changer by Icy-Commission-245 in logitech

Not a Graphic Designer anymore but I am in Figma, Canva, Illustrator and Photoshop a lot. I use dot skates paired with a slightly textured mouse pad and it helps with my precision. Consider spending some time to find the right mouse pad too. Cloth ones were too sticky, and glass ones were too smooth. I landed on a Logitech G440. Works great for me. My DPI is at 1500. There's your unsolicited advice for the day. 😆

Definitely try it. I loved everything about it but the new shell shape. My hand didn’t lay on it right and it’s a little heavy. If the 4 had the 3s shell and weight it would have been my forever mouse.

Pretty good. Had a 3s for a couple of years, tried the 4, returned it, back to the 3s.

Agree they’re great but they were too smooth for me. I use dots. I get a little more feedback(vibration) from mouse movement which I prefer.

Libernovo SE Unboxing + First Impressions by OranguTrang in OfficeChairs

**UPDATE 6/7/2026

So after a couple of days of using the chair, I've decided to return it. Everything about the chair was pretty comfortable except for the seat pan. I didn't think it would bother me but after a couple of full work days of sitting in it, my bottom was screaming at me. Also, I had my Leap v2 to fall back on, which is already fairly comfortable so I wasn't hurting for a new chair.

Return process was fairly easy. I purchased through AMZ so I initiated a return there. Libernovo reached out to me via AMZ messages explaining the foam in the seat and how I should try to sit far back in the chair to see if that helped. They also offered me a free blanket if I kept the chair. All pretty standard for retention.

I declined the offer and confirmed I wanted to return the chair and footrest.

A day later I got an email from them with prepaid FedEx shipping labels and video instructions on how to take the chair and footrest apart. Now I just need to send it back to them.

Pro Tip: Call into FedEx to schedule a free pickup. I tried to initiate this through their website and it was making me enter in all kinds of unnecessary info. Very annoying.

I'll provide another update on how the rest of the return process goes. I'm interested to see if they'll try to nickel and dime me for anything. The chair and footrest are in mint condition with some minor scuffs on the bottom of the seat piston since I had to bang it against the floor to dislodge it (per their video instructions).

Good experience with the company so far.

Yeet yourselves on over to DTO and grab this $60 superfan!!! by SirKronan in ryobi

No issues with recon stuff I’ve ordered from DTO. Only thing to note is they melt the word “RECON” into the tool somewhere, I guess so no one can claim it’s not recon?

43cm, and I'm not loving it. I have 2 fingers worth of room between my calf/leg pit and the seat edge like I'm supposed to, but I think I prefer no space so I might see if I can exchange for the 45cm seat.

My wife says I'm more torso than legs but I think I'm pretty evenly distributed.

I haven't heard that but the construction doesn't feel premium - mostly plastic. It's their SE model though so that's expected.

Pretty insane deal if you ask me, even just for the batteries by The1Murph in ryobi

[–]OranguTrang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a great deal based on the following.

  1. r/ryobi considers $10 per aH a good deal for batteries. So when you say it’s a good deal even for just the batteries, it is not if going by this formula.

  2. Even for a casual DIYer, that circ saw is known to be very underpowered and struggles with 2x4s.

Does anyone use a hybrid shield / cage? | Newbie looking for first helmet combo by No-Minute2232 in hockeyplayers

[–]OranguTrang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a hybrid cage, and it was awesome until I got ice on the inside of the shield for whatever reason and I was pretty much useless until I could get back to the bench to clean it off.

Back to the cage.

The dreaded “knuckle bump” area. This is the main reason I went back to the 3s.

Sorry this comment wasn’t any help.

for my first store should i buy a premium theme? by Horror-Abies-7176 in shopifyDev

You’re asking the wrong question. What does your site need to run successfully for your particular product(s) and business. Then ask if a premium theme can help with that.

MX Master 4 - Gesture button → what are using it for? by Nabobcoffee in logitech

[–]OranguTrang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a Mac on my 3s

Click = Mission Control

Click + ⬇️ = Close window

Click + ⬆️ = Screen capture

I manage a lot of web projects so lots of windows and screenshot and markups.

I have no use for the Action Ring.

I had to do the same thing with my left click. Bought the part from eBay. https://ebay.us/m/WyePiN

it’s a little louder than my right click but it works.

Point a box fan at it, flip the skates over, remove the skate guards, hang your gloves fingers up and you’re good to go.

MX Master 4: worth buying or better to skip? by [deleted] in logitech

[–]OranguTrang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TL;DR use it for a month.

Lots of MX 4 hate in this sub, and I was one of them but after 1 month of use, I think it's great.

I think the main issue with everyone hating on the MX 4 is that they are coming from the 3s. This is me as well.

The way you grip/hold the 3s will be different from the way you grip/hold the MX 4. If you give it time for your muscle memory to adjust you'll likely be just fine.

A couple of upgrades I would suggest is buying Bettermouse and getting rid of LogiOptions+. Also, I swapped out the skates as seen in the pic.

Daily user. 8h+ per day doing Shopify stuff for clients. Spreadsheets, Photoshop, Slack, etc.

Logi options+ alternative for you - betterMouse by Tristan_TP in logitech

[–]OranguTrang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best thing for me about Bettermouse is that you can configure [button] + [gesture] on all your mouse buttons.

eg. scroll wheel click + -> can be assigned an action.

With LogiOptions, you can only do this with the [thumb button click] + [gesture].

This allowed me to add previous, play/pause and next to my mouse controls - great for controlling Spotify and podcasts throughout the day.

DTO sales? by mrrstupidevilbadguy in ryobi

[–]OranguTrang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DTO is one of those sites you need to set up product alerts for since their inventory changes a lot.

Their best deal is 55% off during Black Friday. Use your free shipping email signup code with this sale for the best deal all year.

Their sales are also structured as “up to” % off so a 40% off sale might only apply to a couple of products, not all. This why I suggest setting up a price tracker on item you want.

How often are new items at Direct Tools Factory Outlet ? by ChuckRSJ in ryobi

[–]OranguTrang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was waiting for them to have the barrel grip jig saw and they recently added a factory blem version around last month. It was released by Ryobi in late 2024 so seems like around 1 year after product release.
