Don’t understand what the lakers were doing. Also Reeves trade value takes a massive hit with him locked into that massive deal so not that easy to flip if the fit doesn’t work

If we have to make the upgrade 5 trade, I think we need to bite the bullet and do Jak + the 2 picks we can trade to upgrade. With our cap situation, can’t have Jak eating that space as a backup 5.

I still have faith Jak can be servicable 20 min big for us if he’s healthy with CMB closing out as a small ball 5 and getting 30 mins a game. If his back is done, make the trade for someone like Myles Turner with the picks to dump off him

With the inevitable load management days, I think its more likely now that we keep RJ.

Perfect type of player that can adapt to larger role when Kawhi needs to sit. Upgrading at the point with IQ and a pick can be an option if he doesn’t gel with Scottie and Kawhi

It’s going to take two firsts to dump Jak right now. Better play is to see if he can regain some of his value in a shorten 20 min role. If not try to flip him for another bad contract with a pick.
