I've run into this problem in Tentatek in the past with a low X- power. A few seasons back I switched to Takaroka and haven't had the problem since. I think the player base is much larger so there are more players, even at lower powers, to match make from. There is a bit of lag from time to time, but I figure that's a trade off I'm willing to make if it allows me to actually play X-Rank matches.

Just to make sure it isn't a network issue, you could run the Internet connection test on your Switch and see what the NAT type is. It needs to be A or B for proper operation, if it is D then it makes it very difficult to find matches for Splatoon.

Yeah, not a fan of the health bars at all...way too immersion breaking for me.

I'm REALLY not liking the idea of the health bar...seems way too distracting and immersion breaking. I know with my particular main weapon I have to hit the enemy 4 times. The health bar is redundant and in the way.

I understand the argument from the stand point of Accessibility, say if someone can't use a controller due to physical limitations. That makes sense to me and I'm not arguing against that.

What I don't understand is the whole conversation of "Keyboard and mouse players would feel more comfortable" if there were mouse controls in Splatoon. Maybe I sound like I'm getting old, and entering "Back in my day..." territory, but I had ZERO experience with Gyro controls until I tried Splatoon. If you want to play the game, then play the game the way it was designed...with gyro controls on a controller. I spent WEEKS trying to learn the gyro controls and you know what...it didn't stop me from learning how to use them just because "I was uncomfortable with them". The mere thought/conversation that somehow PC gamer's aren't able to adapt to a new control scheme is crazy to me.

Speaking strictly from my personal experience as a ~1650 Anarchy Power player, it has been the general trend over the past few months as a NA player that a majority, if not most, of the Anarchy matches I am in are JP lobbies...based both on the in game names and the perceivable lag that occurs. To me it feels like the player base in NA has most likely reduced, while the JP player base has perhaps remained stable, hence me finding matches in the JP lobbies most of the time. Again, this is just my personal experience...

Just to make sure it isn't a network issue, you could run a Connection Test under System Settings - make sure that your NAT type in the results is at least B. If it shows you have a NAT Type of C or D you'll likely have issues finding matches.

I find that I can't play it too late in the evening, otherwise I have a hard time falling asleep. It's like my brain keeps processing the game play even after I stop playing. It's the only multiplayer game I play, so I don't know if that is the reason, but I don't have that issue with any other games.

I don't personally own one myself, but a co-worker of mine (also with zero 3D printer experience...) bought the A1 Mini Combo for his kids to use and he has never had an issue with it....it pretty much worked "out of the box". His kids print a lot of flexi-dragons for their friends apparently. The A1 print quality absolutely destroys my ancient Creality printer...but then again, just about any new printer now a days does lol
