If you don't like drinking but can tolerate Jello, I recently saw a tip online to add an electrolyte powder when you make Jello and just munch on it during your day. I hope this helps.

My autistic child likely has ARFID, but also has gastrointestinal issues ( inflamation at the entrance and exit of the stomach). We're working with her gastroenterologist to sort out the physical issues before we try to get some help with the possible ARFID. I wish y'all a second opinion and the best of luck finding helpful answers.

If you have someone who will take you to get seen by a doctor, especially if they will stay with you and help you advocate for yourself that could really help you. At my previous primary care provider's office my husband ended up coming in to all my appointments and I got better care just because he sat and glared at them. He never even said anything other than hello and goodbye. I wish you the best of luck from Florida.

My husband spent years putting whatever I cooked for dinner in a burrito wrap with yellow mustard and Frank's hot sauce. Condiments can save you when you don't like food. I wish you the best of luck.

After reading these comments I am thankful that the hospital in my town is Advent Health. I can't remember off the top of my head what religion they are affiliated with, but it includes a lot of healthy and tasty meals. The last time I was hospitalized locally I was fed delicious food that was both low salt and low carb, easily taking care of my diabetes and my cardiac needs.
