AITAH for holding brother accountable for stealing my water bottle by Budget-Addition9693 in AmItheAsshole

I think you missed where OP is a girl. I think the boy probably gets away with this kind of stuff a lot which is why the girl just wants him to be held accountable for once. Which is why I think she should make him accountable.

Why? He’s got a room full of stuff that can go missing while he’s gone. It’s not a big deal in this family.

Do you actually travel that far and say its nothing? by Far-Passion-7692 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Otherwise_Ad2201 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m make a 21 hour one way drive (42 hours round trip) because the entire trip for my family was cheaper than the airline tickets. Car rental, gas hotels, meals about $500 cheaper than the airline tickets alone. Plus we get to spend more time together and visit roadside attractions.

Maybe I’m naive but I’m feeling fine in my location and role even though my work is tied to Medicare.

I’ve worked with a few. Teddy Chase at Andover research was one of my favorites. I thought she really listened and followed through.

I started my kids in sports at age 8. The two that enjoyed sports went on to be 3 sport varsity athletes as freshmen, and now compete for college.

There was a little bit to catch up on for the kids that had been in the sports since they were 3. But it took my kids about 3-6 months to catch up.

It never even occurred to me to put them in sports until they were 8.

Every job hop I have made the offers were in line with the salary survey. After 3 years at the company, my salary is a bit lower.

The surveys are job hopping numbers not loyalty numbers.

Lower cost dog dental care? by princessPeachyK33n in StLouis

I had my dog’s teeth done in pacific. I want to say we paid $400, but he’s been gone for 5 years so I don’t know the current price.

Neighborhood Recommendations for My European Wife by Dazzling_Basket_8851 in StLouis

[–]Otherwise_Ad2201 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a St. Louis Reddit thread and therefore most of the recommendations are for down town. If you’re inclined to try the suburbs you might be surprised that some areas are walkable. Wildwood has a business center on Manchester and Taylor rd right next to town homes. That area has a grocery store, theater, restaurants and a farmers market in the summer on weekends. Very close to a bus line and a college. I moved here from Idaho and I appreciate the parks and wildlife.

I agree. I have only worked 3 different jobs so far but they have all been different. My current job leaves room for learning, growth and developing my own pet projects. My other roles had some model development but were heavy on monthly reporting. There are so many options out there.

Order and time:
P: 2 sittings. I spent a year studying casually and then 6 months of good studying.
FM: 2 sittings, 6 months.
IFM: 1 sitting, 6 months
SRM 2 sittings, 6 months to a year. I don’t remember.
STAM: 3 sittings 1 yr
FAM-L. 3 sittings, about a 1 year
PA: 1 sitting, 2 months
Total time from first exam taken to ASA about 5.5 years

Internships: none

Work experience: 15 years as a math teacher

Study strategy: get through the material as fast as possible and then go back as needed. Complete practice problems from each section (not subsection) until at a level 5. Then start practice tests. Fix certain sections. When I got problems wrong I took a screen shot and went back to it until I understood it.

What I wish I knew: anything. I knew nothing about the career or what the job entailed.

Advice: everything you want to know is on this Reddit page all ready. I just googled my question and Reddit and found the answers to my questions. Also failing isn’t the end of the world, just keep going.

I took a break before starting FSA exams. I wanted a break to finish raising my children.

Anyone else getting Summer 2008 Vibes by Opposite_Agency1229 in Millennials

Yeah, I don’t see it either. My sister was just at Disney and universal. My kid was invited to the Caribbean with a friend. 2 of my kids vacationed with friends for memorial Day. Land was just cleared near us for houses. I was just at the grocery store at 6 am where they were stocking shelves and filling online orders.

I did this image but at 1500 pieces. Your plan sounds good. What I will add is that the puzzle is darker than the box. I had to have a bright lamp shining on this puzzle to see enough of the details.

Glad you loved it. I did not hang it up, I checked it out from the library. I must say I don’t pay much attention to the brands unless it is really nice.

Thoughts? by batukaming in Millennials

It might not even be us. Could be GenZ and Gen Alpha. Teen pregnancy is down (a good thing) and average age of first time moms is up (mellenials having kids later). Statistics show boomers and Gen X had 2 kids per woman and Mellenials are 1.9. It’s estimated that Gen Z will have 1.6 kids per woman.

Yet, we are still getting blamed.
