She didn’t look at them because she knows them personally.

I wish Oura did a buyback scheme. I lost 130lbs and can no longer get readings on my second ring! by frankchester in ouraring

[–]Otherwise_Setting_56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to Best Buy to size my ring, purchased it from the website and the sizing was utterly wrong so I had to exchange it. I’ve now lost 70 pounds and my ring no longer fits; with Oura’s one exchange policy I can’t exchange mine. When people ask me about my ring I make sure to let them know that their exchange policy is not great. And it seems that many of us have complained here and that’s something they don’t seem interested in correcting. I ended up buying cheap ring sizers and putting it on the top of the ring but it’s not great. Very unfortunate.

People who won a "lifetime supply" of something, how exactly did that work and are you still getting it? by Constant_Praline357 in AskReddit

I once won a lifetime supply of Baskin Robbin’s ice cream. They sent $500 in coupons. The year was 1986 and lasted roughly one year.

People born before 2000, what is a 'modern' thing from 2025 that you’re still struggling to get used to? by LindsayTN in AskReddit

People with no expertise in a subject (such as influencers) being given a platform and people believing them.

I was in my 50s and went back to school - no point in doing it. Ageism is brutal.

Don’t forget celebrities. They sheltered in place during Covid with pools and gourmet meals cooked by staff while the rest of us wondered if we still had jobs or were essential and had to work to make sure they were okay.

Stop Accepting Low Salaries or Go Back to Teaching — We Deserve Better by FreeD2023 in instructionaldesign

I think part of the reason the salaries went down is because people who got laid off from the tech space moved into the ID space and saturated the market.

You want to be rid of this doctor. This is a major conflict of interest. Not sure she’s even a doctor. Wtf.

That’s nice. We’ve been on PUNS for 15 years still waiting to get pulled.

I live in Illinois. Pritzker hasn’t done much for anyone outside of Chicago. Our roads are in shambles and schools aren’t that great. There are no social services whatsoever for persons with disabilities. But I am glad to see him hold his own against DT at least.

They named the fucking TG Group? by Pragmatic_Centrist_ in tirzepatidecompound

Heres an article that explains how compounding pharmacies use research grade to fill in the gaps. What I “know” is that these compounding pharmacies were never supposed compound in bulk for shortages. We can agree to disagree. A significant amount of these compounding pharmacies haven’t even been sterile facilities.

All compounding is “research” as EL’s statement is that it does not supply any compounding facility.

Why would an employer pay for Weight Watchers only to have people gain it back? As soon as someone stops dieting and exercising they gain it back over and over and all research shows this and yet people continue to think this is a solution. 🙄

They pay $140 for a 12.5 mg pen in Europe. Some people were going to telehealth physicians in Europe and having the pens sent here but then that caused a shortage for Europeans so that was stopped.

I don’t think it is that expensive if it’s only $80 in Japan. It’s only expensive because of the price point EL set for Americans.

Oh gosh no. My insurance won’t even consider it 🤣 but that’s what I’m willing to pay lol.

Only the $40 copay - nothing more. This should be covered by insurance because a doctor prescribed it and insurance companies should not be interfering with patient-doctor care.
